I always carry a red purse, and have for years. I use them until they can give no more, then replace them. This is a gorgeous bag. I am coming to it from a four-year stint with a red Dooney & Burke bag that I need to have refurbished. The red is deep and true, the leather is well constructed. I appreciate the three compartments. I was able to organize what I use regularly in the outer two pockets, which have magnetic snaps; and put the items I need more secure or use less often in the center, zippered compartment. I always use a shoulder strap, and the strap provided has a strong clasp that does not lend itself to accidentally coming loose. It is quite secure. At this time, the zipper is a little stiff, but I expect it to loosen up with time. I believe the only thing I noted that I will have to keep an eye on is the interior fabric. It feels almost paper-like to the touch, but does appear to be sturdy. The description states this is polyester, so it may be I am just not used to it, yet. Overall, I would definitely recommend purchasing this bag. I am looking forward to seeing how long it will take to wear out. Read more

The purse is pretty and looks well made but the red is more of a burgundy and that was a disappointment. Also the zipper is plastic and the listing shows a gold metal zipper. Unsure if I will keep it. Read more
