I have been eyeing these boots for over a year. I was a bit hesitant since the mixed reviews on comfort & fit. I finally purchased because they dropped in price. They are very comfortable and I have a bunion on my left foot. I wore these with tights all night to a concert and danced in them and my feet never hurt. I wear a 9 regular in boots. They are more of a burnished, smoky brown gray. I wouldn't call them black. But the color is unique and the studs and inlay black design works with all colors. I have never worn square toe or Laredo cowboy boots but these feel great for me. Well made leather. I feel they will only improve with age and last forever. Glad I finally bought them. Read more

I bought these for riding and ranch work and they're perfect, exactly what I'd hoped for. The toe is nice and short and won't get stuck in your stirrup if you get into trouble. Took a week to break in and that wasn't super pleasant, had some bad blisters but after breaking in they're so comfortable. Great product. Read more
I just received these boots yesterday. My biggest struggle was finding boots to fit my calves and I read a review claiming that these boots do, in fact, fit a larger calf. I was not disappointed! They not only fit, but had a little bit of give so my legs did not looked crammed in them! They came up below my calf muscle (I'm 5'7", size 14/16). I wear a size 10 and the square toe seemed roomier right off the bat - so I'll be able to wear a thicker sock with no problem. I do not need to spend hours breaking them in as they are pretty roomy and supple off the bat. The were slightly slug across my instep, but that's just my foot and I know it will stretch. The pattern is really stylish although when I ordered them, I didn't take notice to the white piping along the top and sides. In person it's a vibrant white which I don't really feel goes with the vintage style, but it's not enough of an issue for me to return them. The boots are made of thinner leather than I am used to (I currently own Carolina and Frye boots). I have 7 draft horses so I don't feel these would survive being farm boots so I'm not sure how they would hold up, but the quality is fine for the price to wear them going out and about. I bought these to wear with a dress for a wedding and I can tuck in fitted jeans no problem. You get what you pay for with cowboy boots and if you are looking for a stylish, going out on the town type of boot for a reasonable price, these are great! Read more

Really nice boots. Other reviewers say they run big, but I have to disagree. I ordered the size I always wear in boots, and they fit just like they should. In my opinion, they don't run big at all. Only worn them for a few days so far, but they are relatively comfortable and easy to walk in. Not exactly SUPER comfortable, but hey...it's a boot. I didn't expect them to feel like walking on a cloud. Otherwise, they are a beautiful boot and I get many compliments on them.
