I have a minor issue with some of the pegs falling out frequently, so I think I might just apply a dab of super glue to keep them in place. Other than that, I love my breadbox! It looks really beautiful, keeps everything off the counter, and honestly, gives the whole kitchen a sort of "upgrade". It was easy and fast to assemble. I like the "frosted" plastic that lets you see there is something in there, yet not see too much - so we can jam all the junk in there that we want and everything still looks clean and classy! It is a good size and holds our bigger loaves with no problem. An added bonus is the space on top where you can place a few extra items if you like. This is a beautiful breadbox. The box is sturdy, but the door tends to hang up a little when opening and closing and feels a little flimsy. Several of the stop pegs have fallen out a few times, but we just put them back in. It holds several loaves of bread at a time, and the shelf on top is great for a butter dish or spices. I absolutely LOVE this bread box! We use the Sunbeam "Giant" sandwich bread, so it was important to me to have a bread box that was long enough for a full loaf, and this one is perfect! We keep regular bread on the bottom and buns, crackers, etc on the top. There's enough room behind the loaf of bread for a couple rolls of crackers, too of you wanted. It looks super nice on my counter and I get compliments on it every time somebody new sees it. The doors lift up and slide in which is nice because then you don't have a door taking up space on your counter top when it's opened. I will say this, you do need to be gentle with it when opening, as the doors have a peg on each side that slides into the "track" that is pre-carved into the wood box itself and if you don't put the thing together precisely right, it ever so slightly "hangs up" and doesn't slide open as smoothly. (This happened to me and now the top door doesn't slide open as easily as the bottom door.) If you have small children that will be using it, this might not be the one for you. It's not terribly difficult to put together, but it took me and my husband to complete ours because you need someone to hold the sides of the box in the correct place when it comes time to attach them. There's a lot of steps to it, so being able to follow directions is also important. The box we chose is black on the outside and the shelves are bamboo, it looks really nice together! It has a vintage and modern look at the same time. Oh and the packaging is the absolute BEST and NICEST packaging I've ever seen! I am so happy with this product. My counter is so much neater! When it arrived so nicely packaged, I was reluctant to open it fearing I couldn't return if I didn't like it. I ended up relying on reviews and decided to open and assemble. I did have a more handy person build for me because I wanted to be sure the doors were correct. They are not perfectly fluid to open, but I think they serve the purpose and overall it's a great quality addition to our kitchen. Read more

If you are buying this for bread- don’t. It doesn’t seal closed. There are gaps around both doors. Bread will be stale in no time. With that being said- I bought it to store my supplements in rather than have them sitting out on my counter and it is perfect for that. Looks nice and neat with plenty of space. Easy to assemble. Not the best quality but will be fine for what I’m using it for. Read more
