I have tested and reviewed a ton of these IPL hair removal devices, and for better or worse, this kit is absolutely the biggest ... and one of the biggest price tags. That being said, there's a lot to unpack here, literally and figuratively. First of all, pay special attention to the warning buried in the ad photos. The one that says "Check if this device is right for you." It can be ineffective if you have light or colored hair, and dangerous if you have darker skin. Like almost all IPL lasers, this will be most effective on someone with fair skin and dark hair. This is not a quick process, and some people have longer-lasting and more effective results than others. Unlike most IPL devices that are self-contained, and often bulky and hard to manipulate, this one is a bit (not a lot) smaller and attaches to a command station where you do the settings. And there are a ton of settings for this device, with automatic and various manual levels of zapping. Also included are a bunch of razors (most provide one, if any) and the sunglasses you'll need to protect your eyes. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY before using. This is a serious device that can cause serious injury if misused. I'd rate this one a 5 in terms of versatility and a 3 in terms of overall value. It was very easy to use and set up, but its overall effectiveness was extremely lacking. It'd leave splotchy areas which needed to be cleaned multiple times, and it was very dependent on the pressure you yourself applied. I will say that this method is more versatile, sustainable, and comfortable, compared to something like waxing. But overall, I just wish it was more effective and did a better clean. I'll stick to regular methods for now, but hopefully a better version of this product will be released. Read more

For the most part this is a fine hair removal device. The only problem I see with it is the portability. It’s a bit big to carry it around with you when you travel. I have seen other IPL device that has a small form factor and yet very effective. But this one is supposed to be stationary and you don’t want to buy it if you plan to travel. But otherwise if you read the instructions you should get the good result from it. Lots of modes and it’s effective if you use it consistently. The price is definitely average for the machine of this nature. So recommend it unless you are looking for something super portable. Read more

This IPL laser is very well made, but I really don't know what I'm doing with it. The instruction manual is completely lacking. I tried it a few times at lower powers, but I had zero discomfort so, I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly. I also am unsure of how the different heads are to be used and when. I'll continue using it and see if I notice less hair, but better instructions would be greatly appreciated. As far as price, this seems to be on par with other devices of this power, and this one seems very well made, so I guess it's worth it if it works. Read more

Got this one before, so same rating and review: This one is larger and more powerful than most sold here, but you have to be more careful because of that. It comes with two pair of glasses, wear them! If you do it together or are with others in the same room, let them wear the other pair. The machine works well, no real difference between this and professional ones. Make sure you have the right skin and hair type and expect only to see differences after a few treatments over a few weeks. It will need continues upkeep to keep the hairs away, but some people are lucky and they don't come back after a few months. The cooling function is welcome but you might feel a burning sensation after a treatment. Use the app and follow the instructions closely. Maybe also watch some youtube videos about IPL treatment.
