I'm using this differently than most as a purse rather than kids backpack. I'd been looking for a backpack purse but didn't like any of the adult versions I'd seen. Plus adult ones were ridiculously more expensive. This one is GREAT! I LOVE style and color being whimsical but not too little kiddish. One drawback for adults is its designed to be a kids backpack not a purse. There is a dividing fabric in the main bag which is nice to put certain things in one side and the other (example useful things-wallet, keys etc on one side and other side for kids stuff- snacks, coloring books etc) There is a small open pocket and pen holder area-try to use for chapstick but they fall out a lot. There is a thin pocket along the back-probably for a iPad that I use for more delicate items feminine products. It makes for a nice purse and I'd love to get another in different colors. Read more
This backpack I'd beautiful. Colors are vibrant and even better looking in person. It is built for lasting quality. I can feel it in the material. My daughter will be the one to prove it as she uses it for school. The size is perfect for all her materials to be brought back and forth to and from school and there is plenty of room leftover for snowpants, boots and whatever art project she wants to transfer back and forth. The zipper has withheld all sizes from beginning of the year extreme fullness to quiet days and hardly any items. This backpack is very beautiful and stylish! Looks better in person because in the photos it has an awkward rectangular shape. I am using this for college. I think this is great for now but when I go into upper division or grad, I definitely will have to put fashion aside and get a big nerdy backpack. But until then this backpack does its job. I expected it to be bigger but it actually is the same size as a regular Jansport backpack. The material is super thick and sturdy, the bottom canvas is soft and leathery. I am not sure if it's real leather but it is sturdy nonetheless and I have no doubt it can hold a lot of weight. The only con of black is I have 3 animals in my house so it reveals fur easily. But otherwise the backpack is very functional and well designed. I recommend this backpack for light and medium use. I am taking 2-3 classes per semester right now so it works for me. I'd have used this in high school but only because I liked to carry half of my textbooks in hand and the other half in my backpack. Sorry for messy background in my photos, it's hard to clean when you're studying most of the week :P I got the black and white floral one. It smells bad at first but air it out for 2-3 days. Super cute bag, deep pockets inside and out so I love that! I wish the pockets inside had zippers because one of the pockets is huge, I may stitch it a little tighter because it flaps over and things fall out. Very roomy though, I don’t put my laptop in it, mainly just gym things but handles the weight well and the shoulder straps are really comfy. Super minor thing, the flaps that cover the zipper get in the way of zipping it and gets really close to catching in the zipper. It hasn’t happened yet but it feels like it would so I just zip it at a better angle. Over all super cute! Hopefully it lasts me a while! Read more

The bag is beautiful. But I got to admit, I was shocked when I first got it. When I opened it, I thought it was a backpack for an elementary student. (I ordered a large) Needless to say, I was very disappointed at the first initial shock. I didn't expect much from it. But I was pleasantly surprised after using it for a few days. This bag, despite how it looks, can hold a decent amount.and can expand pretty far inside. I can fit six spiral journals, a sketchbook, a file organizer, and even a medium sized textbook, and I can still fit in more if I wanted to. Its comfortable, and stylish, but I wouldn't over do it with the weight load. This bag is not a large, (even if it says it is) I say it is more of a medium. How do I say it... its a regular sized backpack. (maybe even smaller) Maybe because I'm so used to larger backpacks, I was shocked. So don't expect that and you be a happy customer. If you are the kind of person who carries EVERYTHING ALL TOGETHER, and by that I mean, your whole locker, supplies, MULTIPLE textbooks, computer lunch, makeup, and even clothes, (by now you are packing your house) I don't suggest this bag.
