Got this for my two year old niece for Christmas. She loves ice cream toys, so it was a hit. The reason why I am giving it a 4 on her behalf is the teaching tool part of the toy might be a bit complex for a 2 year old. Each flavor has a different shape, so you are forced to organize the colors. She was super frustrated. I would say this toy is appropriate for age 3 and up.
