The pins are sturdy and can be easily removed and changed. They gave extra pins just in case. The leather straps came in a little stiff, but I know it will soften with more time. You can see it looks great, the leather breaks in quickly, etc. Note: straps often taper in width about 2 or more mm between lug and buckle, this one does not, it holds the length all the way through, giving a more serious and less elegant presentation. Great leather band. Very high quality leather that doesn't wrinkle like many split cowhide bands do. I worn for a week and decided to change buckle holed and there is no indication I've changed. Color is accurate (battleship gray). Very elegant look. Good value. Quick change pins, however, are too short.
