These lamps are wonderful! Chock full of thoughtful features. And bright! Holy cow. There are multiple options for light/brightness level/color. A current charge level indicator. Adjustable handle. Several options for use. As a lantern, spot light, night light, ambiance, and room/tent illumination, depending on what configuration you choose. Battery lasts a long time between charges. And recharges quickly. I bought them to use in the barn for morning milking, and a morning light in my bedroom. I bought this a few months ago because it fit the bill for what I needed; An affordable, battery powered lantern that could be hung, and water resistant. This is used in a semi-enclosed outdoor shower hung by a hook to the ceiling using the strap attached to the light, so it's exposed regularly to high humidity, some occasional water splash, hot and cold temperatures. This was bought as a temporary light before the shower would be eventually rigged by solar powered lighting. It's not too lightweight, slightly bulky and almost feels a little flimsy but it is incredibly powerful on the spotlight setting, as I'm able to see hundreds of feet easily compared to a more expensive stick light I have for almost double the cost, and perfectly bright enough for the outdoor shower for at night on the lantern setting on max. The battery life is also amazing, on some occasions we'd forget to turn it off and many hours later when we find out we left it on, the battery life did not drain much, even on the maximum brightness for the lantern. Solar charging functionality wise, I did not test it extensively enough to have any real thoughts, but does it charge? It seems to. As far as charging devices like phones and whatnot, I have not tested that feature, but I will presume it works, as this was bought only intended to be used for lighting. For ~$30 dollars You cannot go wrong with it, this is a perfect option for a camping light or an emergency light, for power loss or otherwise, as it does also have the color patterns you can choose. I highly advise reading the manual it comes with to fully get an idea how to use the color settings, but if you just need a lantern/flashlight combo, I could not recommend anything better for the price. Update - October 2025 I have purchased an additional two of these lights as of this initial review I left in the past year, now owning three of them and all of them are still going strong and without issues. I don't have much else to say, these lanterns are really good for what they can do and for the price. Great as a bright flashlight and a table light. With multiple settings for brightness, including emergency flashing light, and color changing lights. The strap is great for hanging or is adjustable for side carrying. Has input and output receptacles. Is a good medium size. Read more

I love it. I just keep it in my windshield most times and its always charged to 100. Flashlight is plenty bright enough to see some distance in front of you to my surprise. It's sturdy enough for what it is and its just a nice piece of kit to have on hand when power isn't readily available. I want another one. Really cool how it has a red light too Read more

Many different glow options! I bought this for my son to take on his weeklong camping trip. The solar charger works great, so all he has to do is set it outside his tent each morning. It has a really nice ambient light feature that is why I chose it for, but also has a traditional flashlight option. Both have multiple brightness levels. The only thing I dislike is the leather hand strap. It seems like it will break before the rest of the light. I wish it were plastic. Read more

So far, I am VERY impressed with this led lantern. The flashlight mode can get so bright that it is almost painful and the lantern mode is pleasant, yet bright enough to illuminate large areas. The different color modes are added fun and the ability to stop at whatever color/shade you want is pretty cool. The battery life seems very good, with some listing between 40 and 80 hours of usage before the need to charge again. I briefly tested the charging capability for my iPhone and it started charging right away with the included cord. A little negative is that there is no place to store the cord. I was trying to wait out the battery before testing the solar recharging, but I think I am just going to have to test it long before the battery runs down. If the solar does not work properly, I will amend this review, but so far, I am very pleased - so much so that I ordered another in preparation for a camping trip in the near future. Read more
