LED Desk Lamp with Clamp Architect Desk Lamp with Remote Flexible Swing Arm Desk Light with Dual LED

Bought one of these and immediately liked it, so I bought a second one. Product description is accurate. Vendor response to questions I put was prompt and helpful. Construction is excellent. Product has multiple pivots allowing both flexibility and control over positioning and use. There are two color temperatures - a bluish white light, and a warm, amber light, both with four levels of brightness. When I want maximum illumination, I can turn the main lamps downward over my desktop and use the white light (there is a preset option on the control remote, MAX, "reading and writing"); when I am working on my three screens, I can change to the warm light, reduce the brightness, and turn the main lamps toward the ceiling for ambient illumination, while the auxiliary lamps provide gentle illumination of my desktop and keyboard. To top it off, it is easy to set up the two lamps to run off a single remote, so the two behave as one. Very, very nice feature. This is a terrific product, one I enjoy every time I use it - multiple times a day - and worth the $52 I paid for each of them. If I had another use for them I'd buy more. Read more

Love this light. Only mounted for my hobby desk a few days. I had previously intended to make a 'Light Arch' to maximize lighting across the desk. While shopping planned area updates including clamp on lighting, this store had a picture of these light bars on both ends of a desk, and that was the spark I needed. Desk top is 65 inches wide. with lights adjusted as pictured, there is about 1 inch gap between ends of the heads. In CAD I modeled a simple rectangle tube with limit ridges for ends of heads. This tube acts as a coupler, so the hanging light bars not only help support each other, but also exhibit almost no wobble when the desk is jarred. Lights are wonderfully bright. I can adjust warmth to my liking. Construction is solid and high quality. The remotes are a great touch. Both sides of clamp come with non slip pads already attached. The control design is not particularly intuitive, but I give a pass for that given the memory to return lighting to previous state when turned on. Worst case, I turn on and touch the reading/writing button for maximum illumination. Improvement recommendation: adjust remote programming so touching reading/writing (MAX) button turns all lights on to that state, without needing to turn on first. Compared to the one I had that died after a year, which was cheap plastic, this is much nicer. Good build quality, feels like it should last. Arm is plenty maneuverable to fine just the right position. RGB adds a nice touch. I wont dock any stars here, but if I was to nit pick... -remote is battery operated. This should really be USB rechargable IMO. Lasts about 2ish months of daily use for me. -wish rgb could be applied to over head lamp (only works on the side light) -you have to cycle through the brightness settings. IE 1-2-3-4-5-4-3-2-1. A brightness up/down toggle would've been preferred. Read more

Focus brightness on both the upper arm and the lower part of the arm. This lamp is replacing an OLD gooseneck incandescent bulb lamp as it finally died when the shade broke off of the gooseneck. Husband uses this lamp in the garage at his work bench. He really likes using the remote to adjust the brightness settings. The best part, because it is LED it doesn’t emit any heat. Read more

This desk lamp works well, proving a bright, even light across my desk. The remote control is convenient. The main light bar pivots to keep light out of the user's eyes. Unfortunately the bar only pivots in one direction: away from the user's eyes when mounted on the left, therefore toward the user's eyes when mounted on the right. I can only mount the lamp on the right side of my desk. So 4, not 5 stars. Read more

50 bucks might be a bit steep, but this light will not look cheap on your desk. It feels solid and has a nice hard textured metal surface with a firm cord. It comes with a multi function somewhat mouse style remote that actually helps you navigate the lamp better than the controls embedded in the lamp frame. It is highly adjustable with swivel type arms like a robot and no flimsy flexible components. and the light colors will fit whatever the need. from a dim night light to a bright task light. I probably will never go back to a cheaper design. Read more
