I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this lamp based on the price in comparison to other more expensive lamps. I use it for needlework and it has completely changed my ability to easily do work. Many different color tones and degrees of brightness. Sturdy with a heavy base. It's not as conspicuous as many of these types of lights. Goose neck bends in many directions. Would definitely buy again and it is gift quality. Read more

I love this lamp! It's sturdy and was very easy to assemble. The light it provides is fantastic! I do embroidery and my eyesight is not the best anymore. This lamp gives me the perfect light to work by, and it doesn't even have to hang right over my work the way my old lamp did (which I would always knock with my hand by accident as I'm doing the stitching). This lamp provides lots of light up above me and I don't have to fuss with adjusting the head to position it just right as I did with the old one. The adjustable light brightness is also a great feature. I haven't used the colors yet, but I find it an intriguing feature. One of the best things about the lamp (to me, anyway) is that the controls are at the perfect height to reach from your seat, so you can turn it on or off or adjust the brightness without any effort. I love to read, and when I read on the couch I might lie down, sit up, or lean forward when I read. I needed a light that would cover all those situations. This lamp is so flexible and can be used in so many ways. High quality and very easy to put together (this from someone who has a hard time assembling the cover onto the peanut butter jar). I was honestly surprised at the quality of this. It's very good, very bright, and built well. My wife uses it for her crafts, it fits over her desk so she can see everything clear. Love this lamp! Got it to use over a dining room table while I puzzle and it's *perfect*! The height is just right and I love how it can be bent into different shapes and over different areas as needed. Plus the brightness can be adjusted with one of the modes being a true warm tone. It took all of one minute to assemble and it even looks pretty good out or bent to the side out of the way.
