These bulbs are a very bright white. It's not a warm tone at all, so we'll see how we feel about that as time goes on. But, this is exactly what we asked for. The LEDs keep the bulb from achieving this intense bright light without too much heat. We'll certainly buy more of these if we don't grow tired of how bright these lights are. My last apartment was infested by rats and mice. Needless to say, I was crying on a regular basis and I kept every single light on in my apartment and even purchased more lamps so that I could have more light. I purchased these bulbs and they are nice and bright! I. Have moved, but I still keep the lights on all the time because I am traumatized.
