For a $200 silk robe, this is hard to beat. I own several of the Josie Natori silk robes, which sell for upwards of $2,000. This robe is lovely for the price - you simply can’t beat it. The silk is thinner than the Natori robes, sure. It doesn’t feel quite as luxurious when you put it on - but it’s mighty close, and is beautifully printed. If you hang it next to a Natori robe, you cannot tell the difference. It’s gorgeous to wear and drapes well. Quite frankly, I prefer it to the Natori robes because I don’t have to worry about “ruining” it - the price is so great that it’s easy to order another one - in a fun new pattern! I love my new silk robe. At first it seemed too perfect to be real silk. I've never really had a sateen woven real silk fabric in my hands before. It is extremely smooth like a polyester satin, but somehow softer with a warmer feel. But not hot. Regulating. I did the burn test on assume straw fibers and then in the inner tie because I just felt skeptical...but it passed the test. Then I hung out in the bathroom while I took an extra long, extra hour shower and the creases from being folded came right out. I'm very happy with the fit. I'm 5'7 and 180lbs. 36 DD with a curvy rump to go with. This fits around all of me nicely with a perfectly sexy but not too risque style. The color and pattern are lovely. The butt wore out of my old silk robe...haha...so I've been lurking silk robes on Amazon for 6 months. "Does it HAVE to be silk?" Yes. Silk has these crazy properties that make it both warming and cooling at the same time. This robe in particular is a gorgeous, teal color with delicately painted cherry blossoms and birds.
