When I peeled the size label, (4"x11/4) from the left leg, it left a sticky, glue residue. I tried to get off without luck. I wore them anyway thinking no one would notice as I would be sitting at a table. Then I washed them, first applying detergent to the sticky area, and allowed to air dry. The residue was gone, but so was some of the black dye. It now has streaky white spots. I just applied permanent black marker and that will probably come out in the wash and need to be reapplied. I would have ordered a size 6, but amazon advised getting a 4 and it's a good fit. Washed on delicate and dried on low, a bit wrinkly and needs touch up with an iron. I would have returned them except they are so inexpensive and I will use them for neighborhood walks and around my home. They are not great quality...what I would expect for the price. I paid $18 and change with tax. I have back pockets! Yes, they are sewn shut, but if you undo the seam, there is a nice white pocket on the inside. Perhaps they were not in earlier makes of these pants, but definitely in these. 10/04/23 I love these! I have worn them frequently...my issue with the label residue disappeared with a few washes. They are so comfortable and casually stylish. Will have to purchase more. Also - I am a size 6 - Amazon recommended I get a 4...it fits perfectly so maybe these run small. Read more

These have a simple, clean, and flattering design for my build. I am 5'4", about 110 lbs., and have long legs. I bought them in small. They have just the right amount of stretch that I can even play pickleball (I can even fit an a ball into the side pocket!) and do yard work in them, and they are long enough that I feel comfortable going to the grocery store or into town with them on. You know when you buy something good and have such a good experience that you want to share it, then when you do that person has the exact opposite experience? This is what happened here. First pair fit great, arrived quickly, no problem. Second pair also. The pair I got for my niece took a month to arrive, it was shipped in the flimsy plastic that it gets put in after it’s folded, somehow it arrived halfway out of that plastic and dirty as if it was as caught in a tire or something, then shoved into my mailbox. I bought these for my house-mate. She attends a few conventions a year and needs something casual, but a little more professional than the denim clam-diggers she wears for yard work. These fit her perfectly, according to size chart, and the fabric is beautiful. She liked them so much, I bought them in pink and black, as well as the original turquoise. They can be dressed up with a short sleeved blouse, or made more casual with a tee shirt. She just returned from a convention in Corpus Christi, and said these were perfect for meetings as well as receptions and dinners.
