Lee Mens Big Tall Custom Fit Carpenter Jean

These jeans are almost perfect for me: First, the “tool pocket” is ideal for my cell phone (which is why I wear only carpenter’s jeans). Also, I’m not just a big man, I’m tall—so a longer inseam is a must. In addition, I need more thigh and seat room than most, and these jeans are roomy in all the right places. Plus they are much more light (in sheer mass, that is) than I expected from jeans of this size (54 X 34). Finally, the price is reasonable. As far as “cons:” I tried to wear them right out of the package, but the pre-washing left a lot of sand & grit in the pockets ... so be sure to wash before wearing. Also, the fabric around the buttonhole is far too thick, which makes the jeans very difficult to button (but I think I’ve got it mastered after a few wearings). Overall, great jeans! I've never actually worn a pair of Lee jeans until these. When I was looking for a longer pair then what I normally got I found these. The waistband has a little stretch to it and is very soft. The color of these jeans is a nice dark color. The fit is great, and I've never felt more comfortable in jeans until this pair. Worth getting if you're a bigger/taller person. Read more

I have owned 4 pairs of these pants for 3 years now 1 pair for 4 and they have fit me perfectly. They are also very durable just now after 3-4 years I am starting to get some new ones as the belt loops on 2 have ripped off but that was my fault as they got caught on something. I highly recommend them to bigger guys looking for well fitting jeans. I dont know if the other reviewers got bad batches or what but my 4 now 5 pairs of these jeans fit and last a long time. I've always worn Wrangler or Levi's and decided to give Lee a try. These carpenter jeans are super comfortable and really soft. But they seem to be plenty strong too. I slide on and off a forklift all day and these Lee jeans are really comfortable to work in and I stay surprisingly cool wearing them. I like them to fit a little loose for working in and ordered 52 waist like some of my other jeans. I could wear 50 waist and probably be pretty comfortable too but I wear a tactical nylon duty belt with the 52's at work and they are super comfortable. No binding when I move around or squat and I've just been really pleased with Lee's products so far. Wrangler stopped being a consistent size when they moved to Mexico for production. I would buy 3 or 4 pairs of jeans all the same size and 1 or 2 of them would absolutely be to tight and not fit. I stopped buying them. The Lee jeans won't break the bank either. Bought for a tall big man. He loves these jeans because they're comfortable and wear well. He can bust the seams on other brands but these hold up very well to a lot of strenuous activity. Little to no shrinkage when washed. They are a little loose, not baggy, in the thighs which is exactly what he likes. Read more

BEFORE YOU BUY< READ THIS FIRST.As said in other reviews, the best damn pants ever. I don't know why I never tried these in the past. While most other jeans will restrict movement if a little tight, these will not. They bend with you, stretch with you, move with you. These pants will not restrict movement when moving or lifting your leg. Make sure to by one size smaller because when I broke in my original size, they wore bigger. Buying one size smaller was the better fit. You can't go wrong with these pants. One pair has lasted me one year because they were the only pair I wore and only washed 1 to 2 times a week.
