Love these shorts! I needed some new shorts, but wanted some solid khaki shorts that felt like khaki pants. These look great, and are made with a slightly thicker material than I've seen recently in other khaki shorts. They're comfortable, wear well, hold up against wear and tear, and don't seem to stain easily. The shorts are labeled as "big & tall" but I ordered my regular size (36" waist) and they fit perfectly. They do stretch and give, but they don't really feel like what I would "stretchy" shorts. These are great for activities like hiking or anything that you might need a larger range of movement for. I would point out that I would not recommend them as workout pants if you sweat much - the fabric is thick enough that it would hold on to sweat. I bought the first pair because they were on sale and thought I'd try them out. After wearing them, I went back to order another pair, paying full price. Great shorts all around. Their flex fabric is really comfortable but my husband is a 32” waist, 148 lbs and slender so the legs are too wide. The deal on these was too good a value to pass up but unfortunately we have to return. I guess the good news is that the packaging was just clear wrap over the shorts with the size clearly noted. Since I was going to give them to him for Christmas and he got the package from the door, no more Christmas surprise. I’m almost glad they didn’t work. ☹️ Read more

* Lee Men's Performance Series Extreme Comfort Short * At 77 I decided to take a break from the cargo style shorts and go back to the basics. These looked like a bargain @ under $20 so I ordered 2 pair. I was so impressed with the fit, quality and functionality that a week later I have 5 pairs. Made of 98% cotton, I'm confident in their durability and don't miss all the extra bulging pockets. The expandable waist band is a HUGE bonus. I believe I can lose an inch or gain 3 with no issues as for fitting. I highly recommend these shorts. UPDATE 8/27/25: Almost 90-days and lots of wear later, I'm ordering 2 pair of the "Orion Blue" which must not have been available back in June when I purchased the others. I've had zero issues of any kind and don't miss all the extra pockets on my "used-to-wear" cargo shorts at all. These are VERY good shorts. Try them. UPDATE 10/12/25: After my most recent visit to my doctor, I find I've re-gained 20lbs. As the weather gets colder, I find most of the long pants I was wearing last Winter no longer fit as I've added 1.5" - 2" to my waistline. :( I guess the good news is... these shorts STILL FIT nicely and will fit if I "expand" another inch.
