44x34, so I am a bigger guy. I could easily wear a 42 waist, but I have a big arse butt and hips that render a 42 really tight in the butt / crotch / thighs. These jeans fit me great, and the taper in the legs makes them look better than my relaxed fit 550's. After buying 1 pair to check the fit, I bought 4 more to make sure I had 'em. Once I find clothes that fit, I stock up. Update: The pockets on these things are very strange. The back pockets sit down around my upper thigh. It's the strangest thing, and rather uncomfortable if you have anything in your back pocket. They literally need to raise the pockets on these about 3" so they sit on your ass and not your thigh.
