I work in IT which somedays involves sitting in the C-Suite for a meeting, or giving a group presentation. Other days I'm crawling under desks to connect equipment or scaling a ladder up into a dirty ceiling space to pull cables. These pants are great for all of these. They are versatile and rugged yet they look professional. The magic is in how low maintenance these pants are. They clean up super easily. Last week I literally sat in grape jelly that spilt out of a bagel sandwich. I had a huge purple stain on my butt and was mortified. I thought I'd certainly have to go home and change. However I went into the rest room and the jelly wiped off the pants like water off a ducks back. Just a paper towel, water, and a couple minutes to dry. The pants looked like nothing ever happened and I was meeting with execs an hour later without breaking a sweat. Ironing is also not my forte. I simply take these pants out of the dryer and hang them up and they are ready to go. Give them a quick snap and throw them on a hanger and your pants are pressed and ready to go. I've also driven for hours in these and they don't wrinkle up. They wear well in all seasons, I wear them year round in New England with no issues. I often walk / hike at lunch which is also no problem as the pants are comfy to move around in and wick away sweat very well. I've had dogs jump on me with muddy paws and their paw prints just wipe right off with a napkin. Can't recommend these highly enough for any professional capacity that requires you to "dress nice" but also puts you into dirty situations. I bought 2 pair of the Lee Total Freedom Relaxed Classic fit pants, one in black and the other in tan. The fit on both pair were identical and are very comfortable. The material on them differed, though. The "black" pair are a much finer, softer material. They easily pass for a business casual pair of slacks. The material on the tan pair is heavier and coarser, and very much looks like a pair of pair of khakis...more casual pants than business casual, but they're still nice. My only disappointment was that these pants are not black. I don't know if that was a shipping error or if Lee considers this color black.They are most definitely a dark navy blue...can't even be considered blue-black. I would have returned them, but since they fit and it's a hassle to have to package things up to return them, I kept them. Read more

I bought the charcoal 30x32 size. I wear a 30x32 in pants in everything and I'm happy to know that these are no exception. They fit perfectly. The color is amazing as well which is something I was also nervous about because in the pictures, when compared to the other colors, they honestly look like a different style of pants but charcoal was really the color I was looking for, it had my size, and even if it was a different style, they still looked pretty nice in the pictures. In person though, they look even better and the quality/feel is amazing. 0 regrets, 5-stars. If I need more pants, I know where I'm going to now. Read more

These are a perfect fit! I'm 6'1" 270# but carry my weight very well. I'm not ripped but have some fluff and padding on me mostly in my belly area. These pants fit excellent compared to a relaxed fit pant. I feel that relaxed fit is more for a heavy set person because when I tried them on it looked like a had a full diaper and the crotch area was damn near just above the knee and way to baggy overall. These pants are soft and flexible! Super comfy! Pulled up at the waist they still offer some good crotch room and loose fit but not baggy. It's hard for me to find 42x34 pants that I like and fit just the way I want but I wish I ordered more of these because they were on sale for only $11.44 a pair! Read more

This was a Christmas gift for my husband. I purchased 2 pairs of these pants, one in Charcoal and one in Black, both the exact same size of course. The Charcoal pair fit perfect but the Black pair did not. In fact my husband said they felt like they were a whole size smaller around the waist! I sent them back for a replacement since we just thought that they may have been miss-marked but the replacement pair they sent had the exact same issue. Still working on sending those back. We are assuming that this is a manufacturing defect but I can't really say that I will be comfortable in purchasing anymore of these online. These are a good buy, just be aware that different colors may not fit correctly. Read more

These Lee pants are very good. I have three pairs of them; one each in black, khaki and beige. They hold up well, wash easily and are relatively easy to care for. These are a three out of ten in terms of dressiness; if you need a dress pant this is not it but for business casual or a job where you need to occasionally do physical stuff, these are good. My husband loves these slacks, they are comfortable and fit him very well. He ordered one in each color. + They do not wrinkle, totally carefree business attire. One of the 'effective habbits of highly successful people' is to stop wasting time on basic decisions like what pants to wear in the morning. Pick the great shirt first then just pick the right color pants, and you're done. These will be the pants you want to wear every day anyway, so save some decision capacity for more important things. +++ One other thing to note about the pants is that my husband has a rather full booty and thicker thighs (that's just his build- he wears size 36) and these fit hit well, they aren't too tight in the but/crotch area where most other flat front pants are way too tight for him.
