Kirkland Momma—January 19, 2016
(review by Colm's wife, Adrienne) I am torn between rating these a 4-star or a 5-star. They are incredibly soft, and they stretch, so that makes them some very comfortable pants. The only thing that I didn't love was that they are a bit tight around the middle, but that's probably my own fault (midsection is a little bit....round these days after having a couple of kiddos), not the pants' fault. They fit perfectly in the rear and through the leg, but the waist is a bit snug. They are a nice, deep dark black, which is really nice. I get the feeling they won't fade to that annoying "washed-out" black that some clothing tends to do, so good news there. Length is good, too. I could wear these with heels and they wouldn't be too short (I won't though, because they're a bit too boxy in the leg for me to wear heels with them), or with tennis shoes and they wouldn't drag on the ground. I'm 5'6" with an average inseam. For the price, I'd stock up on these. They're great! Read more

I really like these pants. They are soft and comfortable and classic. The elastic in the waste band gives them the perfect "no gap" fit in the back without looking bulky. I'm 5'8" and with long legs and the length was great which is sometimes an issue for me. They do run a bit on the small side so if you (like me) are between sizes I recommend going with the larger of your sizes but overall they are great pants. Read more

These are awesome pants! Very comfortable. The waist is higher than many "modern fit" pants, which I find too low cut. I have a small waist, so usually pants will fit in rear, but have a huge gap at the waist. These fit my more hourglass figure well. I also love the material, which is very soft and stretchy, with a waistband that gives. I am only 5'3", but the medium length seems better, as petites and short are usually too constricting in the rise. I highly recommend these. They also come in many color and pattern varieties! I'm only 5' so finding pants with a short enough rise is a challenge. If I buy short or petite in a pant described as sitting below the waist I can usually expect it to sit at my natural waist. These, however,I could pull up to my ribcage, and I still would have had to hem them two inches. Also, the waist was snug but the hips ballooned out. Might work best for someone particularly curvy. The waist gave a little, but not a lot. The soft twill - almost velour - attracts dog hair. I briefly put the pants on my bed and I had a heck of a time getting then clean before I put them back in the bag to be returned. Pockets are very shallow, too, especially in back. Might hold drivers license or credit cards sideways. Read more

I bought the tan pants first, and they fit really good, even a little loose, The black ones were sewn too tight on one side, so they pull to the left when buttoning, and so I think they are a defected pair. I have to keep them, because I need black pants for work, and because the tan ones were the correct size, I thought there would be uniformity with the black color.. Also, the tan and black came from different suppliers, don't know why there was such a difference in the sizes, between the two? Also, the black is a different type of fabric, not cottony feeling, more like suede, and everything sticks to it, like hair and dust, and thread. Read more

I bought my size which is 16 petite. They were just a little long but and fit great when I received them but when I washed them they shrank and are still ok lengthwise but I can't get them zipped up without a struggle. I love the feel of the soft fabric and since the length shrank to the perfejust a little I thought I'd get the next size, 18. Ordered 2 pair of size 18 petite thinking they would be the same length as the size 16 but shrink to fit widthwise. Was I wrong. They did shrink widthwise and now fit me but the length was ridiculously long, I had to hem both pair. Did they think because I was wider I was also longer? Luckily I know how to hem pants but this was ridiculous. I'm keeping them because I know how to hem pants but I won't order Lee pants again from a mail order, I will go to the store and try them on. Also shrinking one whole size is ridiculous. Read more

Three Things Here: Most of Lee's comfort waist pants don't have real back pockets. This one does. And they've buttons to close the flaps too. Secondly, I ordered the 6 short Indigo Rinse. I was hoping for dark blue dress pants, but the fabric is tough and textured like denim, even though it's got the form of dress pants. It's still excellent, so I'll use it for casual wear. Lastly, I want to say that I also love Lee's Sinfully Soft pants. But those pants are made with a loose fabric that's kind of saggy the longer you wear them, and don't bounce back until after they've been in the wash. This comfort waist pants stays the same shape. The denim-like fabric is slightly elastic, but not like leggings or spandex. I think it's important to pay attention to fabrics cause the same line of pants will feel different cause not all the colors use the same fabric. Read more

These fit me perfectly. I got a 6 long in khaki and another in black. It is difficult to find any pants in 6 long, but these are perfect. The fabric is advertised as "sinfully soft" and it is very soft but is a medium weight for cooler weather. The waist gives a little bit. The back pockets with flaps give them a nice style. I hope I can find more in different colors. Read more
