These pants are an answer to my prayer. I think they would be suitable for most shapes because the Flex Motion design seems to enhance the shape of your figure. I needed a pair of pants that looked professional but could be flexible if you had to get on the floor or move quickly. I also needed a pair of pants that had belt loops for carrying a key clip needed for work. I will wear a shirt or sweater that is not tucked. But, I wanted to show you the fit, so I have a tank top on in the pictures. I am 5'7" and am wearing the size 8 long. The medium length was too short for me when I tried it on in a store. So, I ordered the Long length which fits me perfectly. The inseam is 34". The color is Burgundy and is a rich, beautiful color. Not drab; not flaming either. Just perfect. If you don't have much of a butt left (as over 50 it seems to lose it's shape,) these pants are very forgiving and will help you look nice in that department even if you're not so perfect anymore. Also, these pants are very kind to your love-handles by not squeezing your midsection when you sit down. The adhesive tag came off nicely and did not cause a discoloration like some of the tags must have done in the past based on other reviews. So, I think Lee listened to those complaints. Finally found a pair of pants that are comfortable, great looking and fit. I've recently gained some weight (ugh) but I am still picky about my pants. These are snug in the hips (not tight), perfect in the waist and straight leg so they hang nice and look slim. I got them in Size 14 color Rinse which is a nice navy. Fabric is soft, has a nice stretch and doesn't bag. Haven't washed them yet but I'm sure they'll be fine. I'm going back for more colors. Read more
I purchased three pairs in different colors at the same time. black (12 med); grey (12 med); and maroon (12 long). For reference, I'm 5'8", 175lbs, 31" inseam (with flat shoes). If these all fit like the maroon pair, I'd keep all three but the fit varies quite a bit between them & I hope the pictures will show it better. Measurements are taken flat: Maroon fit, slimmer leg through the thigh with 8" leg opening. Waist fits just right, 17" across unstretched, front rise 10", 32" inseam. Grey pair fit looser through thigh with a 8.75" leg opening. Waist comfortable but skosh loose, 17.5" across, unstretched, front rise 9.75", 31" inseam. Black pair fit loose, more like relaxed fit with almost 9" leg opening. Waist a bit too big at 17.75" across, unstretched, front 10" rise, 30" inseam. I'm keeping the maroon and grey, and returning the black pair (a bit too big, little too short and considering these have stretch to them, they'll only look sloppier as the day wears on). Read more
Like the fit and look of these pants. They have a faint crease that doesn’t really show, and they weren’t folded to protect the crease either. Be aware that the fancy looking buttons actually have a dark ring of plastic around the center where the threads are. One of these rings popped off the first time I wore the pants and I had to super glue it back in place. No spare buttons provided. Still gave them 5 stars, because I can’t find dress pants that are better than these. They do fit well and are comfortable. Read more
The waistband is comfortable and the stretch is good. Fit true to size for me. However, the fabric is terrible. I got black and it picks up every single piece of lint, smudge, and dust from who knows where. You end up looking dusty and smudgy all day. Don’t even think about wearing a cardigan. So if you never sit or touch anything…at any time or plan to carry around a lint roller and wet microfiber cloth, I would pass on the black. Read more
I have a very physical job. Long hours, lots of climbing ladders, lifting, bending, you get the idea. I need clothing that moves with me and looks good too. These are very comfortable and look great. The only thing I have noticed that the zippers are not as good as they used to be, but overall a very good work pant. I hope they don't stop making them. Read more
I am a 5'5" woman at about 175# and these are my favorite work pants in a size 14 reg fit. I work with animals so I have to have something that looks professional, cleans up well, and is stretchy/comfortable. These pants do it all and are worth every Penny. Bonus is the back pockets are actually pockets and fit my phone. They are straight leg fit but not narrow, in between boot cut and true straight leg and look nice over tennis shoes. Read more
