So I did size up and I'm glad! Outside of them running a size small, they are great. The material is really comfortable but the shining star is the waistline. I hate the feel of khaki pants and jeans, especially when they do not give at all. These are nice and flexible, the soft material as the band, and just sit at a good spot on the waist. I love these pants they are super comfortable. I used the sizing guide and they fit just right. I went with the petite size 14 and the length is perfect as is the waist size! Usually pants are too long and baggy on me because I'm only 5ft4 inches and now I have a brand where the length is perfect if I choose petite. update: all day on knees on rough wood NO snags no stains. the pants look as fresh at end of day as they did at 8am. Wish I looked as good after 8 hours at work! lost a star because EVERYTHING the front pocket holds will be lost forever. pens chapstick money you name it it's GONE out of that pocket just don't use it, complete waste. product obviously not tested in reality. still extremely comfortable and I'm here to buy a few pairs in white as I'm under the hot sun. I know I can bleach polys to within an inch of their life so I'm going for it. had to modify what I have. took the stupid flap off the pocket, and removed the pockets inner seam, that way my phone actually fits. I'll play around with the front pocket see if it can be salvaged/modified to work. original So far they are VERY comfortable. I'm usually a 4 but I'm 45yo & despite my best efforts, my waistband is getting tight and I decided to just embrace it. I ordered a 6. This brand is SMALL, these fit like my KUHL 4's. But they are so comfortable & the waist is super flexible so I'm just going to keep the pants. The pockets are smaller than I'd like. That's a Galaxy S8 in my pocket, peeping out a good inch. The pockets are weird, with a weird button closure extra-not extra flap thing. Design should be embarrassed, they took a perfectly good pocket and made it all weird. Who is going to spend two minutes trying to close the pocket buttons? And why are they too small for a relatively small smartphone? Galaxy S8 is a pretty small phone for nowadays. Front pockets feel like tight mesh but I don't use them for anything except to clip things to so I'm not going to worry about it. Back pockets are roomy too bad I don't use back pockets. They make my butt look fantastic. That's worth a bunch of points right there. Hem is almost too short and as a 5'2" that's saying something. I'd prefer to hem my own pants, but I know a lot of my short sisters out there will be glad so I'll stand back and let you have this glory. I'm on my knees a lot and I have my doubts about the hold up, but for 23 bucks on sale I'm going to take my chances. They are really comfortable. They seriously give in all directions. I can swing my leg up and over my dog fence, crouch down and stay there and not cut off circulation in my legs. Drive all day and probably sleep in them in a pinch. I mean, it's polyester... so it's basically plastic, but it's crazy comfortable. Yes, they rustle, like a swish. You will make an entrance so stand tall (as tall as you can, you short goddess) and rock it. My tactical boots and jingling keys are already at play so now I'm a power trio, let's rock and roll. To compare, all last season at work I've worn the KUHL size 4 Splash pants and if you rock those you know it's a hard act to follow. New year new me, I'm trying something new. Maybe if these fit they would be 3 stars. Fabric feels just like you'd expect recycled plastic bottles to feel - just like plastic! Fabric is slippery, unbreathable and thick. However it would be ok for winter if these pants fit. I sized up according to reviews and will have to return. At the same time I bought my regular size from Kohls online because they were on sale there too. My regular size is fall off huge. The pants would need to be rolled up too but since they are so slippery that doesn't work. Read more
