This was a last minute purchase as I am going out of the country and I just needed an extra pair of jeans to to bring. I first bought an NYDJ brand (which is my go to brand) but decided to return it since it will require some more shortening/hemming. For now, my review is just based on fit. I am 4'11 short and 118 pounds for reference and I bought the 4 petite short. I find the legs a tad bit wide than I wanted them to be but given that this is relaxed fit, that should explain that. I didn’t think I would like a relaxed fit jean but I needed the Ectu color so I went for it. I ordered my usual size and they fit great. They are just s little wider in the legs but waist and hips are fine, the looser leg gives a dressier look compared to tighter jeans that I usually wear. I like these jeans. They fit and felt good. However, the color, Antler, was not what I was expected from look at the photo online. I expected a more neutral stone/beige type color. I wanted a pair of comfortable, serviceable, tough jeans that I could wear either hiking or out with friends. These jeans, in Authentic Nordic Blue, fit that bill. They are longer than I would have liked, but at 5'3" even petit pants often are. They look cute rolled up a bit, though, so not a deal breaker. They also gap a bit in the back at the waist. I have an hourglass figure, and most pants nowadays seem to be made for apple shapes. Again, not a deal breaker. I have a flat belt I can wear with them. But every time I wear these jeans I end up with blue legs. It doesn't matter how often I wash them. Maybe with time eventually the crocking will stop. I've only found blue on me, and not, thank goodness, on any of the furniture or my other clothes. I don't know if there was a manufacturing problem with that batch of material. I've never had that problem with Lee jeans before. I keep wearing them because they fit and that's not easy to find. I don't see other review that mention this, so perhaps it's only that color. Update Sept. 16, 2020: I liked the first 3 jeans so much, that I ordered 3 more. They arrived yesterday, and to my surprise, all three of the jeans were frayed at the front crotch area, and the frayed fabric being in this area is much too noticeable. At first I thought they were just a few stray threads that I could snip off...no such luck..the jeans fabric is frayed and there is no fixing it. I am so bummed. Returned all 3 for a refund because I can see one pair of jeans getting past quality control like this, but all three? I fear an entire batch of jeans have the same problem, so take note ladies. Good luck. Here is my original review: These jeans are one of the few that fit me just right. I am 5'5" with 36" waist (just above belly button), and 41" hips. I ordered size 10 petite, authentic nordic blue. The jeans are perfect in fit for me, not baggy, nor skin-tight, and the length is also PERFECT. If I wear them barefoot, the jeans do not drag on the ground, and they look terrific with any shoe I use. I can wear them without a belt and not have to hitch them up due to sagging like other jeans. I've had these jeans for about 4 months now and wear them every week. After washing so many times, I haven't experienced any shrinkage, although the color faded just a bit, but we all expect that with jeans after many washings. The color is still very good, and the stitches are all intact. I wanted 100% cotton jeans like in the old days, but this blend of fabric with 92% cotton has its advantages as far as the fit goes. The little stretch that it has contributes to the conforming, flattering fit every time I wear them. I haven't noticed any chemical smell that others have commented about. Tag says Made in Mexico.
