When I first tried these on I thought they might be too small because they were a little bit hard to pull over my hips. But when they're on they fit wonderfully - they are comfortable and look great! Once you're used to them you can take them on and off just fine. They give you a really nice smooth profile, without having a visibly elastic waistband. These are great pants with deep front pockets that will fit almost any smart phone, and they are secure due to the angle of the pocket opening. I own these in multiple colors. If you are between sizes, you should consider sizing down. If you have a flat bum, these will fit baggier in the back upper thigh. The fabric does relax a bit as you wear the pants, and while there is a fair amount of stretch and recovery, they do not completely recover to the "just washed" fit after you have worn them for an hour or so. I would say the "slim" fit is appropriate, as the legs are tapered but not skinny. The fit is work-appropriate, and I haven't noticed issues with show-through. The fabric for most of the colors is a stretch twill, but the navy houndstooth is a sateen print. Due to the print, the black of the houndstooth is not as dark as it could be, although I like the print. The sateen has better recovery than the twill (doesn't get as baggy with wearing), and I have noticed some variation in fit between the gray and breen colored versions I have, with the breen color fitting looser. I am unsure whether this is due to variation in the stretch of the fabric for each color, or variations in cutting/sewing. This is the only thing I would remove one star for -- it would be great if the fit were more consistent. The twill fabric is not truly wrinkle free, but I have not hat a problem with significant wrinkles after line drying and wearing them. If you wanted a front crease or sharper look, I'm sure you could press them. Given the very affordable price, I have not noticed significant flaws in the fabrication of any of my 4 pairs. There is no topstitching, and the pants are hemmed with a blind hem stitch. When I first bought these pants, I thought the twill fabric was a bit more casual than I would like. Now that I am mostly working from home, I am very happy that I have these as my work pants. Even though you usually can't see people's pants on conference calls (insert joke here..), I really find it helpful to maintain the routine of getting ready for work in the morning, and these pants help me do that. I am 5'1 1/2" 135lbs and oooolder, so my tummy has major pooch - 28" inseam for Short is perfect and the size 12 fits comfortably over hips and belly (can't stand tight pants)! Midrise is great (high waists just hurt) and I am SO pleased with this purchase. The only thing I do not like is "line dry" but if these hold up over time and don't fade or pill, then I'll buy another pair!! I am just shy of 5’6”, 166 lbs, 40-33-39, ordered a size 10 and they fit quite well. These pants are okay. They are very flattering gon my bum, which I like. I really like the fit, until my lower leg. These pants kind of flare out from the calf down - unfortunately this is pretty common with my larger thighs, but I don’t like that the look more flared than slim. I feel like the pant is a bit long - well below my ankle bone - and doesn’t look quite as long in the picture, which I don’t love. They are ever so slightly tight around my waist, but that’s pretty common for me and I’d rather them be a bit snug since I’m consistently losing weight. If it matters to anyone (doesn’t to me), they don’t have belt loops. I ordered the colour “Cosmic,” which is noticeably a deep blue/navy in the picture. However, they are so extremely dark in person (in any lighting, not just the crappy mirror lighting in the pics) that they look black. I like a dark navy, but not so dark that I can’t even tell that it’s supposed to be blue. Overall, not a bad pant at all - I’m just not sure they’re for me. I may try reordering a 10 short in a different colour to see if the shorter length and more noticeable colour change my mind, or I may just suck it up and keep them because I start a new job in a few days and need some pants. I gained about 15 since Covid hit and I needed new pants for an interview. I’m currently 160 lbs, 5’ 5”. Bought a size 10. Fit perfect. They were hard to pull up over my bum, but once I got them up they fit well and are extremely comfortable. The front pockets are sleek and roomy. Read more
I am 5’7” and weigh 143 and I purchased a 6 thinking they would fit more like trousers rather than skinny pants. I should have ordered a 4 SHORT. These pants are very loose around the waist and extremely long and almost boot cut. They do not look at all like the pants the model is wearing, hers must have been tailored. Read more
I had to reorder an 8 short (vs the 6 short I had ordered), so ran a "very" little bit long, but still looks good with a wedge heel. The fit is fantastic; the look great and the quality of jean only adds to the comfort. Would reorder! Read more
