I’m picky with my denim and as soon as I’d tried these on, I was ordering the same style in a full-length cut because I liked them so much. I usually prefer a high waist, but this mid-rise cut is very flattering on my figure. I have a narrow waist and carry weight in my stomach and hips and these fit perfectly. Oftentimes part-spandex jeans have you pulling on the belt loops by the end of the day, but these stayed in place from early morning to late night with no tugging needed. The material isn’t as heavy as some jeans, but not as flimsy as some leggings, either. I like the length of the capris / crop, which looks deliberate and not like I’ve had a Laundry Incident. The first washing was entirely uneventful, but I haven’t had them for long, so time will tell about long-term durability and shrinkage, but zipper, seams, and buttons all look solid to start.
