I was worried at first. To be honest, I hit buy now a little quick on this one. Turns out it's smaller and thinner than I thought. This will not be used for its stated purpose but adds to my glass art collection. Sitting on a light base it looks great. The dots or nodules are evenly spaced and basically around the middle 2/3's. That leaves about and 1-inch smooth at the tip and one inch smooth at the base. If you wanted use it for insertion it is a good choice. It's about as thick as a thumb and 6 inches from tup to base.
