Because I was a teenager in the 80s I have always loved leg warmers. At my age, I wasn't the target audience here but I love them all the same. In the 80s it was for the looks, now it is for keeping my calves warm! These are not so heavy (not cheap feeling), which is really nice for not so cold days. I am obviously an adult so they do fit adults. The pictures in the listing accurately represent what they look like. I absolutely adore the wide ruffled bottom which drapes your shoes. They are also quite long (up to my knees) and tapered so they slouch appropriately but stay up on your calves. That was always a battle for me. The knit is very soft, even on bare skin. I love the blend of this material. It's light-weight, soft and doesn't feel itchy through tights. It stretches without falling down while I'm dancing, but doesn't feel constrictive. They also keep my legs warm without inhibiting movement. There's plenty of material but I barely notice I have them on, and they come in colors I like. There are no loose threads and they feel well-made. It doesn't hurt that they're cute and have the lettuce hem. I'm also uptight about the size of my feet, so when it got split-soul sneakers, I wanted to make certain there wasn't a huge difference between the size of my shoes and the size of my ankles. I could definitely use a few more pairs, and they are far less expensive than the leg warmers I could buy at my dance store. Of course, they're not just for dancing. My child is really getting into Gyaru and other similar Japanese teen styles -- dressing up for the weekends, cosplay, TikTok videos and the like -- and these leg warmers fit right in. They're not paper-thin cheap-costume quality -- decently thick, soft, and comfortable, with a little bit of a ruffle at the bottom end. They fit my child (a shorter teen) just fine; they are long enough that you can push them down for that loose-sock look, but they still stay up and don't collapse completely. Whether you do yoga, dance, lifting, or are a fan of 80’s fashion.. these are 10/10 cuteness I’ve heard people compare them to a jazzercise type of look These are comfortable, they’re warm. I’m tall with thinner calves, and the fit is good for me. I’m hoping they don’t stretch out. As of rn, the top seem of the leg warmers still stays cinched around my calves. Unless I’m doing crazier things with my legs, like kicking and inverting, then the leg warmers don’t really fall down or slip a lot. ❗️They do tend to attract a lot of lint though so be careful what you wash and dry them with.
