My granddaughter is 6 and 1/2 and LOVES this Lego set. She plays with it everyday. The parts are small like a normal lego set so they will interconnect with the regular Lego sets. From the first time she put it together ,she can follow the directions and put it together by herself. Loads of cool fun pieces. The case is awesome also. Great gift, love this one! Our granddaughter was excited when she opened it and had no trouble following the directions. I love that they're so perfectly suited for four to seven year olds. She still likes playing with it and gets it out often. All the adults like that it can be easily packed up in the suitcase and doesn't have to be completely taken apart each time, either. Read more

Purchased for a 5 year old girl who just became interested in Legos. The scene is quite cute and the set itself is easy to put together. There are several very small parts that can easily be lost, so I would not recommend for a child under the age of 5. The benefit to this set is that the scene can be built in the case and then all the parts can be stored neatly inside when finished playing, making it a portable toy. The little girl who received it loved playing with this! She was able to put most of it together on her own with minimal help required from her older brothers. Read more

I got this for my daughter because she loves putting items inside of a box, and because I remember how much I loved my Lego 'suitcase' as a child. However, this one is not made like the ones in the 80's. The hinges dismantle all the time when its opened, which is a pain. It is a sturdy plastic, can fit the current Legos plus the LEGO Classic Creative Bright Supplement legos. My daughter loves it! Read more
My son loved this. He is 3 and we both sat down together to build it. The instructions were extremely easy to follow that I could do him the next step and ask him to get the pieces and put them together like the picture showed.
