Calling all Star Wars and Lego lovers! This was a great project and so satisfying to see the finished piece and all of its moving features. Read more
My 20 year old insisted he had to have this. I finally caved and said whatever. Took him a couple days so I’d really like it if they’d make them more difficult or smaller pieces so it’ll keep him busy longer. He yells a lot less at the legos than the Xbox so I have fewer headaches but these puppies are crazy pricy. A week later he insisted he needed baby yoda or grugru whatever. So now I’m looking at two of these silly things that look exactly alike. They also don’t match my decor so idk why they have to live on the dining room table. Luckily for my pocketbook this week he gave up legos and now he’s learning guitar to woo the ladies. The headaches are back but at least he didn’t want to go back to the trumpet. The best thing about him doing legos at 20 vs 10 is I didn’t stop on a single Lego. Read more
This is a great set. This was #1 on my 7 yr old son's wish list for Christmas. I had my doubts that he would be able to put it together, it's a 10+ set, but he's doing great! The Yoda is well designed and it has been so interesting watching it come together. There are several moving parts which is an interesting bonus to this star wars character. I would definitely recommend this. Read more
My grandson loved this. Got it for his birthday. Legos are a little pricey but the kids sure love them. It seems to give them a feeling of accomplishment. I love watching them learn how to follow the instruction book even tho some of them couldn’t even read. I do make them do it on their own an once completed they are even more proud an excited for their own work. I’ve bought a lot of Legos over the years with no regrets. Read more
I'm very pleased with my purchase. The Lego set was delivered in perfect condition, well the box arrived in perfect condition which is important to me, but since it's still in the box I don't know if everything is there and I have no comment on the ease of assembly however other sets I've bought from Amazon have been great. I've done lego (and lego-like, including nanoblocks) for many years. I was impressed at the clarity of the instructions and the way it was laid out. I had to change my normal method of setup because it was all geared to clearly numbered bags rather than color and shape of pieces. The inclusion of a brick separator came in handy because, even with the outlined areas of new pieces for that step, errors did happen. Unlike most kits of this kind, there was really no symmetry to work with other than the head (eyes and ears). That made it far more difficult to do than something like a building or a ship. Where this lost one star was that beginning with "bag 10" (the start of the head), there was no more outlining of where the pieces went. With the head being smaller and more complex, that added difficulty where it really didn't need to be. Not including the little stand with the information and the (non leg-moving) mini-yoda, this model weighed 2 pounds 13.6 ounces. It would have been even heavier if there weren't hollow spaces within the main sections (sides, front, back, head) on top of the hollow interior. Using the internal framework and just attaching to the outside was really neat! Be careful when you put on the head - don't lay him directly on his back -- the pin holding his head in place may come out! It "locks" into place when you put on the back of the head. :) Overall - I enjoyed myself. I bought this for ME! Read more
Arrived as scheduled. Larger than we thought and more challenging. Will keep her busy for several days or maybe more. Read more
