I enjoyed building legos when I was a child, and have put several dozen sets together for my son and now for my 3 year old daughter for whom this set was bought. However, this one took me approximately 10 hours to complete. The instructions were very easy to follow, it’s just time consuming. It was worth it though because my daughter loves it. I wish it came with an actual bowser character, but there is a bowser head on the back of the ship that has an action block. It’s crazy to me that it costs $100, but it is a large set and follows suit with all of the Mario Lego prices. If this piece is for a child that does not enjoy the build, I would suggest putting it together beforehand to avoid being asked about every ten minutes if it is finished yet. Read more
