This coffee table is quite tall compared with what I'm used to, but it fits my needs perfectly. I am using it as a stand for a big TV and sound bar. The table is very sturdy. It is a dark wood, finished nicely. Very heavy for a coffee table. I like the slate. All parts were there (and one extra "foot"). It was easy to assemble, but a hint: to put the legs on easily, get the table together and turn it upside down on a carpet or something that won't hurt the top. Put the shelf on (remember to put it upside down on the upside down table so both tops point down); put in the little metal holders and level them; turn the table back upside up. This just makes it easy. Even puny I can do it! The table feels and appears to be very sturdy. Functionality: It would be a good coffee table to fit with a good sized couch. I have antique furniture which was made for smaller people, so the coffee table would not work well as a coffee table with my furniture; it would be too large. But it is perfect for a large TV; the stand will fit and the sound bar will fit in front of it. And I still have the shelf to fill. Read more

This really is a beautiful coffee table. Emphasis on solid wood – – very solid, no composite materials whatsoever. Also, it comes in four pieces, with eight bolts… Took about 10 minutes to assemble, and very solid once assembled. Really quality materials. Perfect size coffee table for small living room. All wood, no pressed , manufactured pieces. The color is a bit more red than looks in the listing picture. I've added a cotton placemat, and some decor items and it softens the color. I also added storage baskets since I use my laptop in here. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 , was quality control. It was easy to assemble except for one leg which had wood filings in the hole and the hole had not been cut out like the others, so it didn't match the hole in the top. I had to remove some of the wood to allow the screw to hit the hole to attach leg. That took longer than the entire assembly. I would buy this again. Good value being hardwood. It is stylish while being functional. The drawers hold small items like remotes, lip balm, pens , note pads etc. It is easily moved. Read more

I am very fond of Leick furniture. This is a large heavy table that is well made. I thought the assembly service was a bit expensive but there is no way I could have wrangled it by myself. Looked easy to assemble though it would be better to have two people doing it so if you have some string, handy friends you can do it yourself. It really is a beautiful table and replaces my very aged old coffee table. Read more

ive had my eye on this coffee table and matching end tables and when i saw the price drop over $140.00 for the 3 items i jumped on it and im glad i did.i like mission style furniture and they fit in my living room perfectly.there easy to assemble with 8bolts per table i needed help with the coffee table assembly just because of weight and length.rthe coffee table had slight scatch on edge but touch up pen took care of that,no big deal.great buy. This table is absolutely beautiful. While looking at various furniture dealers online and knowing I wanted an affordable cherry solid wood table, I came across this one. Many places carry pressed wood with a laminated overlay for way more money than this one. I wanted something that was going to last many years to come. This one absolutely will. The table arrived broken. I’m kind of handy so I got my gorilla glue and some clamps and got to work. Note that the table may be “solid wood,” but it’s pressed board. Some screws were loose and some were missing altogether. I finally got the table set up, and I was most disappointed that the drawers do not have runners. They just flop around when you open them. At the same time, and totally to the contrary, I bought the Leick end table, and it not only arrived safely, but the drawer has runners. I now know why the end table cost more than the coffee table!
