So this was purchased not for use as a pull up bar, but to hang a harness for a dog that does not enjoy their nails being trimmed. We hung the bar up and then the dog sling and boy oh boy did the pup enjoy hanging around while having a nail trim. The bar holds a full sized human perfectly and the quality is great.
