This umbrella is great. It is a little bit larger than most standard umbrellas that are collapsable but definitely smaller than Morton Salt girl old fashioned not collapsible umbrella. This umbrella feels pretty high quality but I'm more impressed with it's functionality. The umbrella when it expands with the click of the button is super large. You can cover 2 adults under no problem. If there is large wind I think this umbrella would hold much better compared to a regular sized umbrella but not as stable as the non collapsable umbrella (it's hard to beat the strength of an old fashioned umbrella) but the old fashioned umbrellas are huge and this one saves a lot of space. Broke in the first sort of strong wind within the first year I owned it. Pretty and pink but useless. It’s stuck halfway between open and closed, and nothing I do will fix it. Edited to add: I’m going to give it a second chance because the company reached out to me and sent me a brand new umbrella. It’s the prettiest color pink umbrella out there. And I can tell you that the ribs are tough as nails, it was the internal workings of the shaft that seemed to break. Very good company to deal with and the replacement came quickly. Read more

Broke after a few uses. Hard to put deployed umbrella back to the handle. Not real wood, appears to be some sort of paper laminated composite board. Very disappointing. Read more
