These Lena Gabrielle pants are exactly as described in the product description, even down to the fabric content. They wash well and are very comfortable. I ordered a size 6 and the length is just right for me - I am 5'5". Other than the length, don't worry too much about sizing, because the pants are stretchy and accommodating. The fabric is fairly thick and has a bit of a silky feel to it. Until I manage to lose a bit more weight around my midsection, though, I must wear these pants only with long shirts. The pants are slightly slimming, which can be great if someone doesn't like heavy compression or contorting oneself around and hopping in order to get a pair of pants on, but for now I will need to stick with pants that are more slimming around the midsection. One could potentially get away with wearing discrete shapewear beneath the pants, but the fabric is such that the lines of the shapewear I have that would work (high-top shorts that end mid-thigh) show as slight telltale bumps in the thigh-area of the pants. If I were in better shape, the pants would be super, so I am not docking the pants at all due to me carrying a bit extra weight in my midsection than I typically do. The pants definitely look nice enough to be worn to the office. They are clearly well-made and of high quality. Absolutely perfect for someone who wants only a touch of slimming effect. I appreciate the great fit, comfort and look of these pants. There is great fabric quality, and it has great washability even though I prefer using dryer dry cleaning sheets to clean them. Wow! These are nice ladies! These fit like leggings but are thicker like slacks—but they have the stretch. I believe I got a size 8–which I do not typically wear. I’m usually a 10-12. But these 8s fit me!! I think because of the nice stretch to them. But they are most def fitted on me! And the length is great too! I’m 5’6 and I have longer legs with a shorter torso and these work. I couldn’t find measurements, so I got Size 6 based on what Amazon suggested. Fail! They either run true to size or small. I needed at least one size up from what I ordered. They’re not flattering on me in this size. I’m bummed because the material is extremely high quality and just the right thickness. I was hoping to get a nice pair of black pants for dressier work events. They’re slightly stretchy, but not as much as I expected. They’re the perfect length with heels. The tag in the back is so itchy, though! If they weren’t too small, I wouldn’t be able to wear them without a cami or something between them and my skin. I’m disappointed these didn’t work out.
