I requested and received (but will pay income tax on this item) this mini, high-waisted cargo skirt in size medium, and color in dark gray. For reference, I’m 5’7”, weigh about 135-140, and wear 4 and 6 in Athleta. This cargo skirt is 97% cotton and 3% spandex. It is very stretchy and comfortable. The liner fabric is a looser-fitting, stretchy poly-type material. I have no idea why the product details section lists this item as 100% polyester. The mini skirt is not see-through at all and will be perfect for casual outfits where one is running errands, shopping, etc. The skirt I received is very high-high waisted, or feels so on me, and it is also very short, measuring at 14 inches in length. My thoughts were that I could wear this skirt hiking in the summer since it has cargo pockets and I like to secure some of my belongings in my pockets when out on the trail. Unfortunately, while the cargo pockets are large and likely will hold a decent amount of items, there is nothing sewn on the pockets to secure them closed. The top flap cannot be secured down at all, and this may pose an issue with washing/drying this item and may allow for the flaps to not lie flat afterwards. That feels like a poor design and is not functional for my needs at all. If I want these to lie flat in the future, it will require my sewing, for example, some Velcro type of strips on the pockets. Even with that pocket issue, this skirt is really cute and also really short. Thank goodness there is a shorts-style liner sewn in. The skirt I received appears to have had the liner sewn in incorrectly, that being wrong-side out, so the serged seams are visible instead of a clean seam. This looks odd, if you ask me, and I was disappointed to see what appears to be a quality control issue. The liner has its own set of issues in that the fabric fits very loosely on me. So with the inseam on the shorts being so very small, the liner rides right up my thighs and bunches up in the crotch area. Now, I am a firm believer in thick thighs save lives, so this is why I do heavy weightlifting and endeavor to be the girl that is getting “too big.” But my thighs have not attained a large amount of muscle yet and don’t do lots of rubbing together, enough to cause the skirt liner to ride up so darn quickly. I feel like the choice of liner fabric is a design flaw as well. That being said, since this skirt is so cute, I’ll definitely wear it in the summer while out in casual settings or walking the puppy. The pockets will work nicely for holding our special doggy bags. And I do look forward to pairing this skirt with various summer tops in my closet. At the price of $14.99 as of today, 1-21-26, this skirt seems like a good value for the money even with the design and quality control issues I saw with the one I received. I cannot give it five stars due to being unable to secure closure of the pockets and also due to the liner being such a loose, flimsy fit (and sewn in inside-out) causing it to ride up rather quickly. Since these aren’t dealbreakers, in my view, and the price being what it is, I am giving this skirt four stars. Mind you, the awarding of four is based on the price point when compared to the issues I saw. Read more

I love this skirt! It’s incredibly comfortable and the built-in shorts make it very practical. I was worried it might be too short, but the fit is just right. Best of all, the cargo pockets are huge. I can even fit my Kindle in them. It was the perfect piece for my recent cruise and held up great in the wash. Also, the price for this is amazing. If you also miss the early 2000's style, but want a piece that is way more comfortable than clothes were then and has a higher waist, this is for you. Highly recommend! Fit: Great silhouette. I’m glad I took the chance on the length; it provides good coverage (but I am a short girlie, so YMMV). Comfort: Very easy to wear all day. The built-in lining/shorts are a huge plus. Utility: The pockets are deep and functional, easily accommodating a Kindle or large phone. Care: Machine washed it with no issues; no shrinking or fading. This cargo mini skirt is super cute and exactly as described. It’s a true cargo-style mini with two adorable side pockets that add to the look without being bulky. The overall style is trendy and easy to pair with tanks, tees, or even a cropped sweater. The material feels like good quality and not thin or cheap. Once you get the initial packaging wrinkles out, it holds up nicely and doesn’t wrinkle too easily, which is a big plus. The fit is good, and I found the size chart to be pretty accurate, which I always appreciate when ordering clothing online. It sits nicely and has a flattering shape. The only small issue was that the top button arrived cracked in half. It still technically worked, and they did include an extra replacement button, which I appreciate — I’ll just need to swap it out myself. I love this skirt. I bought a similar one a while back, but it didn't have the under shorts attached so i was always self conscious if i was revealing too much, but with this skirt, i didn't have to worry because it has shorts attached! It has great stretchiness all ways for a perfect, comfortable fit, whether being active or a night out. It's a good quality material that's not too stiff but has some weight and thickness, and the stitching is well done with no loose threads. I love the extra cargo pockets to fit my phone AND my hands because i never know what to do with either one! I got the black and it's a rich, deep dark color that hasn't faded through a couple of washes yet. Overall it's a cute, stylish and functional skirt/skort. I think technically it's not a skort because the shorts are fully hidden and it's a skirt all around, not shorts in the back. Love it! Read more
