I have a miniature dachshund who absolutely LOVES these lick mats. I cover it with Greek yogurt, and I am able to get 4 uses out of it because of how it is sectioned off. I like that some sections are harder than others and keep him active for longer. The suction works great and I am able to put it on the bottom of my fridge door for easy cleanup. I love these! When you do an Amazon search to buy lick mats, it can seem like endless pages of the same product and if you’re like me, you can feel overwhelmed by that. I was trying to make the best choice based on price, size, and durability. I like to do my research even for the simplest of products! I ended up choosing these because the reviews were positive, the price was good, and you also get a little spatula and a cleaning brush. I’d say we use these about once a week, we use nonfat plain Greek yogurt, peanut butter and pumpkin puree. I love that it comes with a little spatula to spread the licky goodness. My dog goes ballistic with excitement the moment he sees me reach for these in the cabinet. We have found that freezing them works really well and makes it take longer for our dog to lick everything up. These do totally fine in the dishwasher; just put them on the top rack. Sometimes a little bit of pumpkin or peanut butter doesn’t get washed from a little corner or crevice, but these also come with a little cleaning brush to help with that!!! Another positive thing to mention: suction is FANTASTIC. I haven’t bought lick mats with as many suction cups and these ones; the whole back side is lined with dozens of mini suction cups. Even after putting the product through the dishwasher and into the freezer countless times now, the suction cups and suction capacity has not been negatively affected whatsoever. My first pick was the neutrals, and they complement my home decor. I may try the brighter colors to see if they interest him more - especially the blue one. The quality is fabulous. Each mat is one solid piece, as is the included silicone spreader. This means I don't have to worry about them being choking hazards. The slaoow depth of each of the four textured surfaces means they clean up well in the dishwasher, and the included cleaning brush makes handwashing a breeze, too. I bought these dog treat mats to help keep our Siberian husky occupied when we leave the house, hoping to curb some anxiety. Overall, the mat is as described, it keeps our dog occupied try to clear all of his treat. They're easy to use, easy to clean, a good size, and price was good. The only thing I was disappointed with is the suction, they don't stay suctioned to the laminate floor nor the fridge very well. Read more
