The depth of the front pockets is a bit disappointing, on the shallow side. These pants are 100% polyester, and they sound like it. Every minor movement produces at least an audible rustling sound, while walking produces the polyester swish sound as the two pants legs rub against each other with each stride. Personal preference on whether that matters for golfing in the outdoors, but you'll likely be wearing them afterwards in the clubhouse or restaurants etc. The pants are comfortable and have good breathability, and they look good because they are polyester which resists wrinkles and the color is consistent on the pants folds and doesn't fade. Since the product states it is 100% poly, I don't penalize it too much but I believe similar pants with blends of poly and nylon and similar blends take the edge off the poly-induced noise drawbacks.
