Love these and I am a petite adult. However please expect that they are not a sharp black color they are slightly faded. My daughter wears a size 12 now in pants and this size 12 fits her well so I would say these are true to size. Overall, the pants are comfortable and my daughter played outside with them yesterday with no issues. However, I think the fit is a little odd. The back seems more low rise than the front, but it should be the other way around. It would be nice if there was an adjustable waist along the inside like so many other kids pants and shorts have. Also, I have seen other uniform pants with a reinforced knee. For a name brand like Levi, I would expect these convenient additions. Read more

They are Greta quality. I ordered a slightly larger size but they fit well with room for my daughter to grow into them some. They are slightly long but again, I ordered a size up.
