Fits perfect. Same leg opening as my 511's. Tapered like my 512's. Why are they great for me? Because it's tapered like the 512, but not as tight. At first they were kind of loose looking, but after shrinking in the dryer. They fit so good. Yes. I recommend. EDIT: The pants shrank more. Everything still fits but they are now short in length. Was 30" long. Now 27" long. I may reorder them in a 32" length. 2nd Edit: The 32 inch length was also short. 3rd Edit: Bought the brown cords in this fit/style. They fit like crap! So loose. They might be looser than 505's. Also the brown color was closer to red. So they look kind of burgundy or maroon. No thanks! Returning this crap. I'm starting to think Levi's has zero quality control. I'm constantly getting pants that don't fit right because they're too loose, too tight, too short, too long, the wrong color or whatever it might be... Read more

Maybe its too much time in the squat rack, too much time at the taco stand (or some combination of the two) - but my trusty 511's just were not giving me enough room to breath above the knee. I've always found Levi's to be a great value for the quality. My objective was to find a pair of jeans that gave the same slim look as the 511s, but with a bit more room in the thighs/butt. I tried a few different fits, but for me the 502 taper was the best. Essentially seems like these identical 511 below the knees but roomier up top. For reference, I have 42 inch hips and 24 inch quad measurements. These are still a nice slim fit, but not suffocating like my 511s were becoming. From a sizing perspective, I’ve always been a 34 x 30 in Levi and these were true to size. Read more

I normally wear Levi's stretch 502's with the "black leather embossed tag" that normally sell for 50% more(premium product, only place I even find it is at the flagship store in downtown Portland OR) -- So that quality is not the commonly available "tan leather printed tag" ... so the color of this pair I got was true to image on the web site and I love the look (with my blue jean jacket) ... but the fabric is noticeably thinner than the premium 502's .. still, it fits good and feels comfy. great product ! First of all, I would like to thank the young girl who helped me at the Levi Outlet store in North Bend, Washington who told me the Levi's I just received from Amazon were not available, I'm wearing them, they fit perfectly and the little stretch is just great. By number they are 502 Taper fit stretch jeans; through the butt and the legs they are so comfortable. Truely, these are a pair of my favorite Levis', The fit, the comfort, the look'''these pants are great. You gotta try them, Amazon has a great return policy but if buy the Levi's 502, you'll probably never use it. MK 2020 Read more

I'm 6 foot and 230lbs and the 40x32 fit perfect with a little room in waist. Has room in the crotch area. Was worried that the tapered leg would make the jeans fit more like skinny jeans as I'm far from skinny. When Macy's ran out of the exact color and type of Levi's 502jean I was looking for, so I naturally went to Amazon. Amazon or the seller lists the correct color Opal Grey, but the description was generic "Levi's Men's 502 Taper Jeans, Opal Grey. The actual name should be Levi's Men's 502 All Season Tech Jeans Opal Grey. I took a chance and they delivered the exact jean and size that I was looking for at Macy's and Macys.com. Thanks Amazon! I don't love thin dress slacks so I've purchased a few varieties of these for the office. They're comfortable and well made. They last longer and are less likely to snag or tare like typical office appropriate slacks Read more

This cut of Levi's is my go to, typically the ones I've purchased from the Levi's website are high quality and always fit the same. Unfortunately the amazon ones have been hit or miss. I've had the same problem with 511s. They can be sized kinda weird and the material feels thinner, I wouldn't be surprised if most of these were factory seconds. A lot of the reviews on amazon talk about the quality declining, but I think if they got jeans from legit sources they might not feel that way. I wouldn't say not to buy these if they're on sale, but dont expect the jeans youd buy at a higher price at the mall Read more
