Good fit for my non-ideal body type. Unlike the millennial skinny jeans, 555 fits relaxed, roomy and hides unwanted bulges. 100% cotton so it keeps the intended cut and structure and does not feel like leggings. This "Cheers To That" shade runs an inch shorter in-seam than a comparable 550 of the same exact size. But other 555 washes/shades have accurate in-seam length, such as Up The Score [Premium], Midnight Blues [Premium]. So don't go overboard on in-seam length. Just order the usual size you wear in 550, 505 or 501 for this 555. Read more

I normally wear Levis 559s. And I prefer the 100% cotton jeans over the stretch versions, which never hold their shape around the pockets and waste. I was happy to see that the 555s were 100% cotton. I thought I would try these for a slightly slimmer fit, with a slightly longer rise. I have had issue with Levis in the past on their quality control, with regards to fit. I have loose 559s and tight 559s all the same size. So, when I say that the 555s are actually looser fitting than the 559s, it could be the lack of consistency instead of the actual fit. I don't think the color pattern is what was pictured ("lead the way"). However, the biggest issue with the 555s is that they are thin. As soon as I picked them up, they felt thinner and floppier (if that is a word) than my 559s. Looking closely and comparing them directly to the 559s, the 555s have a looser weave with a lower thread count. They are comfortable, but not what I would want for jeans. They are more like solid pajama pants. I do not think they will hold up over time to any moderate to heavy activity. Then I saw that there is a tag that says they are made from a lightweight material. If that is what you are after, then these may fit the bill. If not, then you will want to try a different series.
