Truly a GREAT air purifier! We have them throughout the house, and our RV. My wife is extremely sensitive to smells, dust and pollen, and these make her much more comfortable. Easy to adjust the speed, they create a barely noticeable white noise. The machine will show Red on top, with a number, if it is working overtime on cooking smells etc, and will notify you when it is time to change the filter. I bought this for my office/man-cave. I smoke a pipe. Most of my tobaccos are aromatic with a good room scent, but I do experiment and some of them can get a bit stale smelling over time. I have this filter next to my desk and it does a great job of filtering the smoke. My wife can rarely smell the tobacco... though she does love the aroma of most. This one has multiple speeds, I usually leave it on max and it works great. It is small enough to be unobtrusive and large enough to be effective. The controls are on top and can be controlled via wifi if needed. It doesn't restart after a power outage, so have to remember to start it again. Easy to use and a lot of power for the size. Pros: light weight, powerful, effective and easy to use. Well made and good value. Cons: It can be loud on maximum speed if you are sensitive to such things. It can be placed anywhere in the room, so that can be used to mitigate the noise. In my case, I have multiple fans running on computers etc so it isn't noticeable. I have several Levoit products and find they are long wearing, well made and effective. These are no exception. I would recommend this product and would buy it again. Read more

Isnt too bad. I like how I can set it to run automatically.. very quiet, I only use it in my bedroom. seems to do a good enough job. I like the nightlight setting on it, gives a little bit of light up until sleep time.. helps get into that sleep mode. moves air well enough. need to clean the strainer bit every now and then, but that will depend on your place. Dont expect it to be able to suck up lots of dust though. seems to be more of a light air turn over. seems durable enough. had it for like 6 months now, and filter still going good. seems a filter will last a light user for about a year. I've been using this product for months now and it's great to have if you have pets..especially cats. Sometimes I wonder if it really works cause I still get my allergies time to time. But when I open up the filter I can definitely see all the dust, dander, etc.. I wouldn't say it reduces smell.. I tried using it in the kitchen but I didn't see a huge difference. I think the function is more towards particles in the air. I set it on the highest setting (III) before bed for an hour or two, with my bedroom door shut. That's when I feel more big of a difference. Then I set it to sleep mode throughout the night which is super quiet and soothing actually. I can't sleep with it being on mid or high, it's too much noise for me. But for some people it can be soothing since it's white noise. My preference is complete silence when sleeping and I get that with sleep mode or lightest setting (I). There's an app to download on your phone where you can control the device from where ever you are, home or not. I find this feature life saving because it really helps to get the device going before coming home sometimes, especially when I've been sneezing and wheezing all day. Oh, and I place the device on a high and open spaced area where there is not blockage around it. It's not really going to do big differences if you place it near a wall or on the floor. My go to spot is usually my kitchen island, or on top of the chest in my bedroom. The app also tells you how much of a lifetime is left with the filter. I sometimes vacuum off the outer layer of the filter gently (so I don't poke any holes or tears to the filter). It makes it last longer since the outer layer wont get clogged as fast. Does a great job remove air impurities on any of the settings. I use it almost every day and didn’t see a giant increase in my electric bill, which is a bonus. The “sleep” mode really is quiet and nice if you need to run overnight and don’t want the fan noise to disturb you.
