The picture quality on these LG's is stunning, as advertised. We have the old stereo center / book shelf type and the 27'' LG fits perfectly. It has an ARC port specifically designed if you want to hook up a soundbar, which they recommend. If not sure how the hook-up goes, on Amazon just ask Rufus and can tell you how to set it all up. Bought this TV specifically for the Ethernet connection, works like a charm. Setup was a little onerous for the smart TV settings, not very well laid out compared to Vizio and other models. One star deduction for this. Picture quality is excellent, sounds quality is tinny. If you buy this TV for movies and entertainment, you’ll need a soundbar. Solid value and fairly compact. Read more

Rubbish. First, the electric connection that plugs in the back lines up directly inline with where a wall mount bracket would go which means you can't attach the wall mount bracket to the back of the tv because it doesn't clear the plug unless you shim it out. Moving the plug over by a half inch to either side would have avoided this problem. Second, the wall plug is so big it barely fits inside a recessed electric box. The bottom of the wire of the wall plug crimps due to it being so tight. Finally, setting it up on my cell phone doesn't let you get past all the user agreements you are forced to read in order to set up the tv. If I click read later, it doesn't continue, if I read now and click on ALL 7 of the agreements you need to read, I still can't continue. I typically buy Samsung, but needed a particular size so i bought this. Save yourself the trouble and get a better designed, better engineered tv. I can't even tell you if the picture is good because for a half hour, I still can't get past the 7 user agreements. Also, if you use Directv, this television isn't compatible with the Directv app, so I have no choice but to return this tv. Read more
