Love it so far! Easy to set up and really pretty. I like the sturdy square base. I can set my notebook there. Height adjustment is great. I love the screen and the visuals look great. I bought this monitor to save money instead of getting the Apple Pro Display XDR, and it was a smart choice. The Thunderbolt 5 feature is great—it perfectly charges my MacBook Pro M4 Max with one cable, which is key for my work setup. I did not like the included stand but attaching with an external VESA arm was easy. I appreciate the included white cables, but the power supply looks too big and heavy. My main issue is brightness. Rated at 450-600 Nits, it feels lacking compared to my LG G5 4K TV, which, at a similar price, is dramatically brighter. I had a 32inch 1440p OLED from a leading gaming manufacturer brand. Every time I go from my 5k macbook pro to my desktop, I feel like I am missing out. I do a lot of phot editing. A little bit of gaming. So I decided to pull the trigger and get a 5k2k monitor. The screen is not as crisp as my mac studio display. It does not pop as much as my tried and true OLED. I'm a huge LG fan. Every display in my house is LG. I have the LG Ultragear for my gaming PC and that is way better than this one. I think they have the best OLED technology, HOWEVER, this monitor isn't it. I'm so disappointed after waiting for this release. Having watched countless videos and have read many review articles, it almost seems like everyone was paid by LG for their positive reviews. I have two Apple Studio displays and the goal was to consolidate into one 32" inch display, without sacrificing quality. The size is perfect. I even like the design aesthetic, although some critics think the plastic is cheap. It's built well, and it looks great, so not sure what the fuss is about there. The display on the other hand is just as good as a few hundred dollar IPS display. This screen is not even close to the quality you deserve for $2000. I even tried tweaking the display settings (which wasn't easy), and still nothing good came from it. The overall display was very grainy, distorted in some areas, and the icons in the Mac OS Dock were just horrible looking. Going from a very crisp Apple display to this monitor was a huge let down. I would not recommend this product, and I would wait until better tech comes along to compete against Apple's extremely expensive displays, but you gotta give it to Apple - they create a superior product, and they charge an insane premium for it. Awesome monitor with great picture quality. I paired it with an Apple Mac Studio and used the thunderbolt 5 cable that is included with the monitor. I like that they actually include one set of each different cable that could be used for connectivity. Read more
