This is a thicker plastic than most others, which is good. I needed 48” and the description said this cover fits up to 48”. It does fit my aluminum outdoor patio table, but it wouldn’t fit if the sides of the table top were thick, like a dining room table usually is. It also looks like the plastic could tear away from the elastic after a few uses so I will reinforce it by double stitching the elastic to the plastic. This is a great product. I purchased it as a clear table covering for our dining room table because that’s where I watercolor paint. The table itself is just beautiful so I didn’t want to cover up its beauty because it’s in a heavy traffic area of our home and of course I wanted it protected from paint and spills. The product comes in a bag and is very wrinkled and creased. The wrinkles and creases do not disappear over time. I tried a hair dryer and a hot iron over a wet cloth. Some of the wrinkles and creases came out but not enough to look smooth. For the price of the item, it is not worth it. Read more
