I have found the trousers fit me extremely well. I order a size 40 x 31 and they are great! But my waist measures 43 inches. A true 40 inch waist might find them to be large. So far these have held up to my son. He says they ate comfortable. He does complain that when he goes outside (it's winter) that he can feel the cold air, so not thick enough for colder weather. The pockets are deep. He's wider than the average kid, so I do have to remind him to push the pockets down. Take the time to compare to the size chart. He's barely a 40 in the waiste, and some reviews said to size down. I looked at the chart and decided to do 38. I could've gone down another side, but the pockets probably would've popped out because he's on the thicker short side. I did a 29 in the length which was perfect, still long without shoes but didn't have to worry about them dragging when wearing shoes. If these last another month or two I'll be buying more. These are comfortable pants that stretch a little. I normally wear 32W x 33L (hard to find 33L) and this pair of pants fits perfectly. I had hoped for a blend fabric but they're 100% polyester, which can be uncomfortably warm if it's hot outside. Other than that, very nice pants Read more
