We like using glass water bottles. This is the perfect size for on the go. It is easy to clean, doesn't leak and is durable because of the silicone sleeve. The cap is easy to take off and put on. The colors are nice, too. Read more

I didn't realize this was a baby bottle when I ordered it. I just wanted a small bottle that would fit in my car's cupholder so it wouldn't become contaminated from sitting too long in the sun after use. Since I already had a straw cap, I chose the least expensive small bottle I could find. Turns out the straw cap doesn't fit this bottle, so I ordered something different but filled this and left it on my bedside table. Without the straw, it is easy to rinse this clean in the bathroom sink and it doesn't spill when I open it. I can rinse and refill this every couple of days. Nice surprise! Read more

I have 2 of these now. I love them. Nice size for juices and now I even put my left over coffee in one of these...mixed with sugar and creamer and save it in the refrig ...mix with ice and have a frosty coffee later in the day for a treat. I have a vitamix and it makes the coffee almost like ice cream. A question was asked so I thought I would add to my review. additional comments sept 2014 No it does not leak at all and there is no gasket. I think the lid would be very easy to clean even dried on milk. I have not left anything in the container and wash them as soon as they are empty so I don't know how easy or difficult it would be to get for example dried milk rings off the inside of the bottle but I believe a good bottle brush should take care of it, just like cleaning a babies bottle. The only thing I am not sure of would be the difficulty in cleaning between the bottle and the rubber grip on the outside of the bottle. It is very tight around the bottle but as I have said...........I have not had any cleaning issues. The lid is hard plastic but does not seem like it would break if it fell over onto a hard surface. I really love these because they are glass and yet the outside is easy to hold. One more note: Cleaning them very easy. (keep in mind...My bottles aren't used by children or even taken outside,) With that being said, if you still aren't sure if these bottles are for you...... I would recommend you try one and use it for what ever purpose you plan on using these bottles for and see if it works for your purposes and then buy more if you like the results because my thought is they will hold up to what ever you throw at them. Even though they are glass, my thought is they will hold up very well. The only reservation I would have is don't give the bottle to children who are very young(the children in high chairs that might throw the bottle to the ground) ... they might drop them on the lid ..My guess... the bottle would probbly hold up to that kind of beating because of the rubber grip but since the lid is a hard plastic I think it would break.. Great glass bottle option. Technically sold as a baby bottle but I use it as a personal water bottle. Glass allows for pure water taste and just the right size to put in my purse or bag without feeling weighed down. Read more

We love Lifefactory products and that is why we ordered this item. Drinking from glass is so much more appealing to us than drinking from a plastic or metal bottle, and we avoid disposable water bottles in our effort to be kind to the earth. However, sometimes we just don't need a 12 or 24 ounce water bottle on our outings, and it's nice to keep a little water cold in the fridge. So I purchased four of these 9 ounce bottles. What's appealing is that the bottle can go into the dishwasher, with silicone sleeve attached, so I know it's getting clean and sanitized after each use. I haven't figured out how to put these caps into the dishwasher... probably need a closing basket like one that is used for infant bottle items. So right now I hand wash the lids. What I noticed about the lids is that they seem to lack a rubber gasket on the inside so the seal is not as tight as with my larger Lifefactory bottles. In addition, the plastic of these caps seems to be more challenging to screw onto the bottle than the caps I have on my larger Lifefactory bottles; they seem to cross-thread more easily and you must really screw it on tight to avoid leakage. Hopefully the manufacturer will re-design these caps for future generations of these bottles, because I really like the size and shape of them. Read more

We currently own about 5 of these large bottles and 5 of the small ones. I've had some for over 10 years and have only lost a few to chips/breaks! I bought my first ones to use as a baby bottle (with the nipple top), and we used those for 4 kids. We also bought the sippy cup top and used those for all the kids too. Now we use them mainly for "grab-and-go" smoothies. They're super easy to clean (a quick rinse and twirl with a bottle brush before popping in the dishwasher), and even my toddler can hold and drink from one. I've never had one leak with a properly sealed top, and I love the different colors...all my kids know the teal one is mom's - so don't drink that one! Ha! Read more
