I very much like this light therapy lamp. I am using this for resetting and keeping my circadian rhythm intact so I can sleep better at night. This lamp is easy to assemble and the remote is very handy. I like the color variations of this lamp and use the yellow in the early evening to bring down cortisol. The brightness is perfect and helps to get my body and mind ready to wake up feeling great for the day. I was only able to sleep around 5 hours or so at night, waking up and unable to go back to sleep. This morning I woke refreshed and was able to get almost 7 hours of restful sleep, some 3 days after using light therapy. I use a microdose of melatonin, 300 micrograms at 7:15pm. I also go out of the house here in southern NV with the rising sun and walk for 20-30 minutes as well. I feel much better physically and mentally. This light therapy, I believe with just 20-30 minutes in the early morning while it is still dark, is key in improving my well-being. Read more

The light itself is awkward because the cord is located so far up the pole that it has to be close to the power source. UPDATE: I wrote a pretty scathing review with 2 stars when I received it, so I am changing that. Yesterday, I took a few extra minutes to play with putting the batteries in the remote. The problem was apparently that the coil on the negative terminal ends was not aligned properly when I installed the batteries. I had to push it back at the same time I put the batteries in to establish a connection. After that, the remote does work, and I have light. Still deducting a star because the cord is so short it has to be pretty close to the power source, so it can't be used as a floor lamp in a room where the power source is more than a couple of feet from the lamp--which makes sense if you use it as a desk lamp and the power source is directly under the desk. I’ve had ‘happy lamps’ years ago - did nothing. These newer ones are so different. I have this ona plant stand and pointing over my desk. It feels like I’m sitting in the sunshine! The level of light is great! Really happy with this purchase! You can leave out a section of the stand to make it shorter too. Read more

I have been looking for a floor lamp for ages, but I couldn't find one that really fitted my needs. This lamp does! It simulates natural light, which helps with my Seasonal Depression. It is also very adjustable , so I have light where I need it. It also comes with a remote control that allows you to change the lighting if/when needed. Very easy set up! Read more

Works as described. I use it in my office space, my reading chair and hobby table. Easy to move - not heavy. Love the remote! I leave the remote at the doorway to the room so I can turn on the light before entering a dark room. Love the lighting options. Really like the nightlight feature, too. I recommend this light. The media could not be loaded. This light was great but it didn’t last 1year and the bulb burned out. There’s no way to return or contact customer support since it was purchased in February. I’d like the replacement. UPDATE: seller responded in 24 hours & offered a full refund but then offered a replacement. 3rd UPDATE: the replacement lasted 30 days and as you can see in the video the bulb is flashing. The on lamp controls are small and it's tough to use them to control the lamp. The remote works well, but there is no way to tell if the key was pressed hard enough I use it for a reading lamp & it has moderated my SAD. Read more
