I use this lamp every day for work and I feel as though I’ve had the best S.A.D. season yet. I usually feel the seasonal depression hit and can’t wait for it to be over but I haven’t experienced it hit yet and I’m well into my usual season of depression. Not saying it will work for all but it’s been really helpful for me. It’s also good task lighting. Read more
The media could not be loaded. I live in Seattle so I use this light to get my morning light and dose of “sunshine” because of the lack of real sunlight in the winter/fall/spring here. I used to have another bulky happy light and I needed to replace the bulb. The cost of buying a new bulb was essentially the same as this one, so I decided to try it. I wanted something that was going to be sleek that I could leave on the kitchen counter. I love this one. It folds up super smoothly and I love that the light is kind of coming from above (I’ve heard that’s better because it mimicks sunlight more). One weird thing about this light is there is a light on that back which I haven’t quite figured out the purpose for that. The sensors for turning the lights on and off are also very sensitive, which is good because they turn off easy but can sometimes be bad cause sometimes you will accidentally turn it on when you move it. But overall giving it 5 stars because of the great sleek design and it’s much better and more aesthetically pleasing than other happy lights I’ve used and it gets the job done! Read more
This was just delivered. I read the User Guide and it has 6 Precautions ( none were mentioned in the product description! States do not use if you have retinal diseases or diabetes, if you taking pain relievers, antihypertensives, or antidepressants, cateracts, glaucoma, or an inflammation. Well, I fall into this category. Why is this caution not included in the product description up front? I am very disappointed and will be returning this item. Additionally, I read every comment from people who have purchased this. No one mentioned these cautions. Maybe they do not read the user guides. So, buyers beware. Read more
