I ordered this fixture to replace an older, dated chandelier in my dining room. I'm very impressed with it, it looks to be very good quality for the money and is even more attractive in person. I am very pleased with the appearance and the finish, and happy with my selection. I had my electrician put it up so I can't comment on ease of installation or assembly, but he didn't seem to have any problems. Read more
I had been looking for a 'sister' chandelier to one already in the home we purchased. This one fit the bill! I liked the look online ant is much better in person. The most of the arms swing out to any position you like which is nice. You can go for a linear or a circular look. The color is not shiny like chrome so it does not look like a cheap light. The chain length and wire length was easy to adjust to the height we needed it for (4 ft) - we had almost double the length cut off. If you have a need for a long chain and wire, you should have no problems. The shades are cloudy but not so much you lose a lot of light. Bonus is they are dimmable. Just had this installed by my electrician, easy peasy. Looks great! Wanted something not too flashy or shiny to replace the old one from 1968, there is more of a warm country look in my kitchen. I didn't realize the globes have streaks in them, not sure what to call that, kind of like marble has, but it looks nice. Instructions say it can take up to 100w bulbs, I used 60w equivalent "daytime" bulbs and wow, they may be too bright, "soft white" bulbs would look much better with this fixture unless you're aiming for very bright light in the area. Also, the description didn't mention if this comes with the wall base, but it does, FYI. Read more
