It wasn’t too difficult to assemble, but it did take some time. My boyfriend and I were able to carry it from our elevator to our apartment with no issues. It is pretty heavy, but we both are into lifting so it wasn’t an issue. We got the king size and it takes up quite a bit of room of course, but it is helpful that it has storage beneath. I have always been a “mattress on the floor girlie” and he made me get a bed frame when we relocated from TN to VA and I actually really like it. Seems sturdy so far, but we have only had it for a month so if anything happens I will update the review. The bad part: the outlet stopped working about 3 weeks after we got it. Not really a big big issue as we purchased it for the storage and we have outlets just on our respective sides of the bed. We didn’t really care for the outlet being there or not but it does come with that extra and it no longer works so it’s just kind of an eye sore honestly. Not enough for me to ding a star because as I said, I don’t truly care about the outlet and we aren’t without a place to charge our phones but I felt I should mention it if you are interested in the charging port extra and that’s a make or break for you. Now I will start by saying we have only had this bed frame for a couple of nights. However, it’s definitely a higher quality than I expected. Not the highest of qualities but given the price point, the quality is pretty good. Something I would recommend is paying attention to the measurements. The bed sits lower than we anticipated but not low enough to be a problem. Also, the shelf is not as wide as I anticipated but it has plenty of room for phone chargers and maybe a small lamp if you want. Additionally, my only real problem with this bed frame is how the drawers are secured and opened. I personally feel the draws could be a bit more functional in opening and closing. However they are at least secure and won’t roll out randomly. Assembly took longer than we thought it would but was overall easy to put together. May give an update after a few months. Read more
Love this bed frame!! It was really easy to put together because the instructions were so clear! Whoever designed the part labeling and instructions should do it for everything! Love the outlets on top of the bed and love the drawers! I was not looking forward to assembling the drawers, but they were actually really easy and a great design! I want to buy another one for my son’s room now! We are still in the process off finishing our room but I attached a photo of the assembled bed! Read more

Great Value, Look, and Function. The metal frame is black in color, the fabric headboard is the perfect shade of Grey, and the and the wood looks solid and real; and, matches the wood color/grain of several dressers, night stands, and furniture here on Amazon no matter the brand. Easy assembly for a DIY person. Sturdy enough for most people. Exactly what I was looking for as a very skilled and creative handy person. This is perfect for a Cal King 14 inch high hybrid (spring and memory foam) Mattress, which is designed to be on a flat platform with no box spring. This frame was good out of the box. The drawers underneath are great and make for easy cleaning/vacuuming underneath the bed. But the frame can be even better with some modification from the original slat design. I installed 1/2 inch plywood (with sanded, rounded corners, and recessed screws) to the metal frame and added braces and feet from the big box store and here on Amazon. It was sturdy before, but now even better. Highly recommend this bed frame for anyone. The best feature is that this bed frame is bigger than the mattress. The baseboard does sit right on the floor, but I have not hit a toe into it yet. Read more
Pros: The frame itself seems solid and sturdy. The cushioned headboard looks nice. The plugs in the headboard are practical. The height of the mattress is decent, only a couple of inches lower than our old king-sized bed with traditional boxsprings. Assembly was easily completed by 2 teenage boys. Cons: the "wooden" part is cheap chipboard with a wood grain laminate pattern and is thin. The drawers are a joke. They are very rickety. Would have been much better with drawer slides built into the frame but instead they're little wire baskets with a "wooden" piece on the front and has rollers on the bottom. There's a large gap between the mattress and the headboard, so the pillows and everything else falls behind the mattress. At least it's a wide enough gap to easily retrieve the fallen items. Another downfall is since there's no gap under the bed, when we are getting into bed we end up kicking the face of the drawers. Like I said, it's practical but leaves a lot to be desired. Read more
