This cardigan is VERY warm if you need a really good outer layer! It is also very oversized. I normally wear a L or XL- since I was getting to wear over other shirts, I got the XL but could easily have had the L with extra room still. The sleeves are really long (and I have long arms) so I had to cuff them once at the wrists to keep them off my hands. For people sensitive to picky materials like I am, this does have a little scratch in it so I have to wear long sleeves underneath. It is a really well-made sweater and is stylish and thick.
