I don't feel this product did wonders for my hair. IT works much like a conditioner and not as a revitalizer. My hair is short and straight, and I don't have the wavy problem that some do. I have more of an oily feel. This product, while easy to use, really just made my hair soft, which is good, but not the wow factor you would think you would get from a treatment. I would say that it might work much better for wavy/curly long hair than for short and straight hair. One bonus is that it smells good and leaves a lasting scent in your hair. Read more

First, I’ll point out that at least one of the product photos doesn’t really represent this hair mask. The photo where the product is sort of poofed up and spilling out of the top of the lid isn’t accurate. The mask consistency is more that of a stiff banana pudding (see photos). That said, I’m VERY impressed with it! I have nearly waist length medium-to-finely textured hair, with a slight waviness. The fineness of my hair can make if difficult to find a mask product that won’t weigh it down. But WOW for this mask!! First, I didn’t have to use very much product to thoroughly coat my mid-to-ends (per instructions. About the equivalent of a very large gumball. :) Second, the product FEELS very clean. I’m used to masks feeling heavy and thick. This one just felt different, like I instinctively knew it wouldn’t make my hair greasy. I left it in for about 10 minutes (after a double shampoo), thoroughly rinsed, rinsed again with a bit of shampoo on my scalp (as I usually do, since I am outdoors a lot and prone to some oiliness at my hairline), and let my hair air-dry. After several hours, I ran my hands through my dry hair and it felt notably softer and silkier than with my normal shampoo and conditioner routine. Brushing it out verified this, as my hair was less frizzy on the ends. Just an overall very pleasant result. Oh, and it DOES smell delightful, especially if you like bananas! Reminds me of a banana pudding smell. The packaging is also quite cute. While I don’t typically like tubs for hair products, the consistency of this one lends itself to a quick scooping of a dollop without having to protect it too much from the spray of the showerhead. While this is a somewhat pricy product, I think the value for the money is more than there, considering it does (for me) what it purports to do, and also that I didn’t have to use too much of it. I’d probably do this mask once a week, and thus expect the tub to last for about 4-6 months. Definitely a keeper!!! Read more

At the time of purchase this was 30.90USD, waaay too overpriced for what you get. Glad to see the price is now 12.75USD and hope it will stay like this because otherwise it is not worth buying. I am not particularly impressed with this. I love the texture and I totally am in love with the banana smell, but is it effective? Not so much. It did not restore my hair not work as a mask. It is almost as good as a conditioner, but not as a hair mask. It worked in making hair a little softer but not that “boost” that you normally expect from a hair mask. Read more

This hair mask is such a treat — it smells like dessert and leaves my hair silky and soft! It’s thick and creamy, and a little goes a long way.
